355ml can pours a pale golden amber color with a 2 finger white head that settles quite quickly leaving some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and caramel. Taste is caramel malty sweetness with a surprisingly generous citrus hop bitterness. Light to medium body with adequate carbonation leaving a nice tingle on the tongue. I was quite stunned with the nice balance of flavors in this brew.

Draft at The Alibi Room with the Vuong family while visiting Vancouver. Pours a clear amber with thick white lacing. Aroma is light hop, and pretty restrained overall. Mouthfeel is creamy with notes of bitter hop, dry grapefruit and maybe some other dry citrus fruit. 7.3.7.3.15.

weihenweizen (3825) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - MAY 15, 2012
Refrigerated can from JoePeesie poured into a shaker. I think I shook the can because I made a mess on the counter. Pours beautiful light orange with big bright white head that dissapates quickly. Some lacing, medium body, medium carbonation, and very light citrus aroma. Taste is citrus and light bitter finish. Very easy to drink, very refreshing, if this had a bit more taste it would go from good to great, but still a good outdoor summer time drink.

Rating is for the Citra hopped version, how is this aliased? This is vastly better than the original version! Pours clear honey gold, thin white head, solid lacing. Nose is spicy juicy floral hops; apricots, clean malt, ginger. Flavours of spicy stonefruit, lots of tea and white peach. Great!!

JoePeesie (925) - Long Lake, Illinois, USA - APR 5, 2012
Pours a golden orange with a fluffy white head that laces nicely. Nose is floral and sweet. Hop profile is nothing special, I had high hops as their IPA is so good and this beer is a bit of a let down.

3.6
CampesinoTino (800) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 19, 2012
Can. Appearance is a solid apricot golden color with a good inch of beige head. Mostly grapefruit rind, wheat and caramel in the aroma with a bit of herbal hops. The taste has the caramel and biscuit malt notes upfront leading to orange and ruby red grapefruit citrus flavors. The body is smooth and well-carbonated while the finish is dry and bitter with more citrus pith tanginess in the aftertaste. Pretty good balance between the caramel malt and citrusy hops characteristics.
