5%ABV. Pale ale.
Poured out gold. 8 SRM.
Nose has a full malty aroma with toast and bread crumb aromas being most prominent. Very brief hints of pine and spruce. Some citrus aromas as well with orange peel and grapefruit peel.
Mouthfeel is beery. Palate has nice toasted malt flavor with graham cracker, candied nuts, dark wheat toast, and doughnuts. Hops are bitter and noble with a hint of citrus peel and on further approach start to yield slightly spicy flavor notes as well with cilantro and light fennel seed and cloves.
Finish is brief and clean. Then comes back and lingers a little on the back of the throat without being cloying.

(Draught) 6oz sample glass reviewed at the brewery. Its the SIGNAL LIGHT and not the LIGHT PALE ALE, okay? And its good for you... and it tastes swell. Medium, white foamy head with a sparkling light amber body. The head nicely webs to the glass. Nose is crisp and citrus with crystal malt. Sweaty salted. Very well hopped and toned with a mild lactic finish. Very good. DuffMan (10421) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 7, 2008
Can from Brewery Creek. Pale amber, clear and bright, huge foamy white head generating clingy lace. Fresh orange zest aroma. Sweet light malts and fresh citrusy hop character, medium bitterness. Very nice. lando7 (5) - , British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 6, 2008 does not count
This is an excellent pale ale, especially for a canned beer. Pleasant hops and citrusy taste without too much carbonation. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 15, 2010

[5482B-20130609] Can. Orange hops aroma. Clear, bright orange body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Bitter pine hops flavour has a nice grainy base. Medium body. Very tasty, lovely on the balcony. (8/3/8/4/16) 3.9
This is a nice canned pale ale. It is a very clear beer w/ a foamy head which clings to the glass tenaciously as it dissipates. This is a lighter bodied pale ale w/ a nice mix of citrus and earthy hop elements. The palate is light bodied but not at all thin or watery and overall this is a very well put together beer. I am begging to wish more brewers did something like this w/ their APAs. It seems like most are pushing them towards something like an IPA but I’m liking when they keep things a bit lighter and more session-able. 355ML Can. Pours a gorgeous orange in the glass. Picture perfect! Fruity aromas of grapefruit and pine. Citrus and pineapple fruit flavors up front with a slight hop finish that leaves me wanting more. Brilliant pale ale. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - AUG 31, 2011
Nose of floral hops, nice moderately sweet malts, a hint of caramel, light citrus. Pours orange golden with a fairly nice frothy head. THe flavor is moderately sweet pale malts, caramel, floral and citrus hops in the finish. Nicely balanced between sweetness and hoppy. Very drinkable. Nice stuff. blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 21, 2011
Cask at Cask Days 2011. Citra hop version. Beer #1 of festival. Pours a cloudy orange-copper with a small but lasting fizzy white head. Really nice big hoppy aroma, resiny and citrusy, lovely. Flavour has lots of resiny and citrusy hops, some citrus fruit and a nice long bitter finish -- pretty much just hops and I love it. Medium bodied. A great beer to start the day with, very enjoyable and a great Pale Ale. barncatmatt (2286) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 25, 2013
