Rating #2442 - 2016.04.12 - Taproom at Central City mall. Pours a deep pinkish with a bubbly white head. Aroma is strong raspberry jam. Taste is significant raspberry jam. Almost bordering on a beer cooler. Finish is tart, but not unpleasant. Fruit dominates the palate a touch too much for my taste.

Sweet and jammy like a raspberry tart but without the sour edge to take it it’s a bit too much. Still better than a lot of the weak ass American wheats that just hint at raspberry. At least they try.

Draft - Sweet raspberry jam. Clear coppery jam with a decent white head. Sweet and jammy, too sweet.

If you like raspberry beer, with a stress on the raspberry perhaps, you can’t get back than this. It’s by far the best Red Racer has to offer, and you can only get it in house. If you’re ambivalent about fruity beer, avoid this one.

Poured from the tap at the breweries main center in Surrey. Very good aroma of crushed raspberries. Kind of reminds me of the Mc Donalds raspberry smoothie smell. Nice refreshing taste. The carbonation keeps the taste alive and keeps the pallet tingling. I love this delivery mechanism. The beer turns into a foam that slowly released flavor without overwhelming the taste buds. I could easily have a pitcher of this on a patio with some friends.

Poured from the tap. Murky medium brown with white head. Aroma of raspberry purée. Taste has mild raspberry with a very light wheat flavour (think white bread).

patricks110 (2495) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 26, 2012
A very mild and fruity brew. Pours a pink tinged gold with a foamy white head. The nose is sweet, tart and definately fruity with a minor hop and citrus quality. The flavor of raspberries is not huge in the flavor, but its there with a light tartness. A mild hop on the finish with a few lemon notes. Overall, nice fruity brew.

Gerbeer (3745) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 4, 2012
On tap. Pours an orange brown with light head. Light strawberry and malt aromas. Clean flavors of raspberry and strawberries. Not overly sweet or syrupy. Nice summer beer.

reebtogi (6261) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 27, 2012
On tap in 2-4oz sample glasses during Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2012, pours a pale amber color with a small white head that leaves only a few specks of lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild raspberries and mild hops. Taste is tart raspberry with some malty sweetness and mild hop presence. Light bodied with decent carbonation. Slightly below average fruit beer, but still refreshing.
