COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Irish style stout is deep, dark, smooth and creamy. The use of oatmeal in the mashtun adds silkiness to the texture and body of this ale. Excellent paired with oysters, prime rib and your weekend brunch. Formerly known as Steelhead Stout.

Drinking now cuz it was in sale and we are tired from hiking out from Moul Falls in Wells Gray on a cloudless moonless night, feet soaked from standing in the middle of a creek with snowshoes on. Dark brown and a small bubbly head was all that the can would allow. Oatmeal, biscuit, some sweetness, cherry, light roast. Taste is so so. Light to faint bitterness. Weak roast, oatmeal, light choco. Dry. Its ok and boring yet totally safe.

Bottle, labeled as Red Betty Oatmeal Stout. Deep cola brown/black hue with a thin sticky light tan head. Smokey and slightly nutty nose thats got a faint bit of mild cocoa sweetness in there. Clean and smokey dark roast malt flavor thats got a hint of coffee and a touch of chocolate. Mild, even keeled and just a little smokey chocolate.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2016 Dark with too much foam. Very little flavor of interest. I expect better from CC.

There's nothing wrong with this beer, it's just spectacularly unspectacular. Thin on the body and lacking flavour for a stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can - Roasted malts. Jet black thin white head. Roasted malts with a touch of bittersweet chocolate. A basic but decent stout, very sessionable if not interesting.

Pretty typical dry stout. Dark, white head, even has the texture of a Guinness. Nothing too interesting, but an okay beer.
