Rating #1353 4.12.2014 341mL Bottle #4 from the CC/P49 Mystery Box. Bottle says Red Racer Belgian Style Wit. Hazy golden/orange pour with a decent white head. Aroma is orange rind, ginger, and coriander. Taste is citrus, mild wheat, mild pepper with a yeasty kick. Very sessionable. slowrunner77 (11917) - Reno, Nevada, USA - NOV 19, 2015
Has the requisite citrus and spice but a little hollow otherwise. Over spiced and lemony - not a lot of beer underneath. Lacks complexity and body. Not unpleasant but really not that well made either.

Appearance: cloudy straw, short, short-lived off-white head with no lacing. (2/5) Aroma: doughy wheat, coriander, light orange zest. (5/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter, light peppery spice. (5/10) Medium-light body, moderate carbonation, off-dry lightly spicy finish. (3/5)
A fairly mediocre wit. Retention and lacing are bad, and the nose is reminiscent of old lady soap. Nothing terrible stands out, but thatís about as good as it gets, unfortunately. A surprising swing and a miss for a brewery that can usually be relied upon for a solid performance. (10/20) piscator34 (2515) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 8, 2015
Can. Hazy yellow in colour with fairly strong carbonation. Strong aromas of coriander and old fashioned soap. Quite spicy in the mouth as well with London dry gin style botanicals (coriander especially), lemon peel and faint wheat. A bit overspiced for my taste, but a decent effort. ljthiessen (1324) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 5, 2015
Can. Cloudy, pale golden pour with a small dissipating head. Aroma is sweet, citrus fruit and coriander, but with a sort of warm vanilla note as well. Flavour is quite mild, fairly well balanced but mostly plain citrus with a hint of spice; again a touch of that vanilla, which isnít bad, but a little out of place. A middle-of-the-road witbier, but a little odd with that vanilla-ish flavour. northropfrye (3514) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 29, 2015
Can poured into Hoegaarden glass. I guess, according to Dan Ariely, because humans are predictably irrational, the very fact I poured it into the Hoegaarden glass might make me unconsciously and unfairly compare t his to Hoegaarden. Although my irrational mind might also unfairly associate the two in favourable light, too. Whatever the case, I didnít think this was near as good as Hoegaarden. Yellow body, fizzy white head, not much lacing.I found the aroma quite faint, sweet a little bit of spice. Taste was sweet wheat, but again quite subdued, a touch of a watery finish. Not spectacular. cards04 (2784) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 23, 2015
One of the better wit biers Iíve had in awhile. Nice sweet wheat and candied citrus aromas. Sweet citrus and warm spice flavours. Crisp and refreshing. Great summer beverage.
