Shared by Chris. Thanks buddy. The beer appears dark brown with a thin, light tan head. The aroma is buttery, with notes of oak, bourbon, roast. Smooth feel, but perhaps a bit flabby, per se. Different aspects of this beer lack harmony and continuity. Still, a solid beer and quite tasty. Alcohol presence is tree, but generally unobtrusive. Overall, pretty tasty, but nothing extraordinary.

Pouring at GTMW 2012 Dark black pour small brown head. Smells "nummy" was the first thing I said when I sniffed this glass. Huge bourbon barrel nose mixed with lots of chocolate roasty notes and a nice hint of lactose. THis made me think of a perfect monster milk stout on bourbon barrels. Huge thick chewy delicious palate. Sweet flavor, syrups milk chocolate, butter, vanilla,. Delicious clean finish left me drooling after a swallow. This was one of the best beers at fest!

Bottle from trade in Asheville, NC. Super robust bourbon aroma and flavor, but really quite well balanced. A great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
