Tap at rumpus room in Milwaukee during glbtq. Small pour. Brown black with small white head. Boozy nose with dark fruit. Some peat. Sweet, booze, dark fruit. Bourbon doesn’t overpower. This is terrific.

Cola colored with tan head that recedes quickly. Aroma has bourbon, coffee, chocolate, dried fruit and more. A ton of flavor including all of the above. Light alcohol taste initially that is replaced by some bitterness. Body is creamy and full.

Very rich, very delicious dark beer. Picked up at Local Option with Josh, Brandon, Brian, and Al after ASEH in 2017. Thick on the tongue, super chocolatey with a deep licorice finish.

Aroma is mostly chocolate and alcohol. Taste is similar. Appearance is dark brown with a very fizzy head the dissipates quickly. Fairly light body. Not as rich and creamy as you would want a barrel aged stout to be. No lacing whatsoever. Not up to Central Waters standards in my opinion.

3.9
Ktwse (4812) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2017
Pours deep brown to black with low tan head. Aroma of nuts, bourbon, light vanilla, chocolate. Taste is sweet chocolate followed by a lingering balanced bourbon sweet finish. Light to medium bodied, creamy, with soft carbonation.

Draft. Aroma of of raisin and sticky cake. Flavors follow, plus some bourbon, it’s sweetness moderated by an insistent bitter backbone probably more malty than hoppy. This finish astounds. Really smooth, balanced. Not boozy.

ebone1988 (1856) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - MAR 31, 2017
Aroma is bourbon, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, barrel, bready, good. Appearance is dark brown, light brown head, an unfortunate Coca Cola fizziness that seemed very wrong, and it poured thin. Taste is bourbon, barrel, vanilla, chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, tasty. Mouthfeel is medium body, light, bubbly carbonation, bourbon and chocolate aftertaste. Overall, the body on this is all wrong, because it would be great otherwise.
