4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Stellar Zwickel style beer. Had this on guest tap at the Map Room and was very pleased. Super balanced, a nice spice on the nose and a clean finish. Pours a medium ambler colored brown with a thin, white disappearing head. Nice color fade going on down to the bottom of the glass, too. A great locally made beer.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Burnhearts. Clear straw yellow with a large creamy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, malt, yeast and light funk. Taste is sweet and malty with citrus, yeast and a dry/astringent flavor. Not my style.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Vinegar aroma. Full of farmhouse funk. Slightly cloudy gold pour. A little lace. Taste is mild. Some barnyard with a fair amount of hops to balance things out. Huge mouth. This is a collaboration with Map Room’s Brandon Surprenant and Paddy Long’s Pat Berger.

Decent. Very bready and sweet. I feel like the malt is a bit undeveloped but not too shabby.
