3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I really can’t call this an IPA at 5.5%. Call this beer an IPA light. It has almost all the things you want except the ABV and huge taste.
Very tasty session brew at a decent price , $8 a six.

Hazy orange in body with a thin white head. Citrus is the main hop player here. Quaffable and nice enough. screigh (773) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 16, 2016

12fl oz bottle poured into a shaker. Dark amber with a tiny off-white cap. Very earthy flavor, like liquefied mulched wood. Lingering bitter finish. Full body, lots of carbonation. Belch City over here. This thing is incredibly heavy, a meal in a glass. This is an oddly flavored IPA. It definitely has plenty of hops but certainly doesn’t taste like an IPA. This was a blind rate and I could not identify the style. Not bad but I don’t think it’s a good example of the style. commonmac (1370) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 23, 2016
UPDATED: APR 28, 2016 Bottle picked up at Surdyks and consumed at home on a beautiful Minneapolis evening in April. Pint glass. A hazy looking IPA with an attractive golden orange color with about a half finger of slightly off white head. Nose has elements of pine and a mild citrus. A little bit bready as well. Taste has qualities of tangerine/citrus brightness along with a pine and a bit of floral. There is a healthy malty presence that really kicks into gear in the middle of the sip. The finish brings the hoppy bitterness back into play nicely. I’m getting a syrupy mouthfeel without bringing the sticky resin presence that makes a good IPA for me. Falls into that average to slightly above average IPA category...one I’m probably not going to seek out again once this six pack is finished.

Draught @ Albion. Copper/dark orange with small foamy beige head, faint mango aroma, low carbonation, faintly bitter taste with mango flavor, medium thick body, medium finish with very little bitterness. Mellow tropical fruit themed IPA. rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 22, 2016
Can from Top Hops, New York. Clear golden/orange beer with a rich offwhite head. Hoppy citrus and caramel aroma, grapes, biscuits, oranges, some floral hops. Sweet hoppy flavor, grapes, orange notes, caramel notes. Was hoping for more. Dazz3 (1799) - Hallsberg, SWEDEN - MAR 22, 2016
Bottled. Pours golden with a big white head. Smells and tastes sweet grassy hoppy with a mild bitter finish. Bonnie628 (50) - Tustin, California, USA - DEC 26, 2015
Really good brew, more on line as an English IPA in my opinion. Edge of west coast style but the earthy hop and peppery spice leaned more English. Pretty good malt profile too. zizzybalubba (1891) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - NOV 15, 2015
12 oz. bottle from Woodman’s Market, Waukesha, WI. Dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of lemon zest and fresh pine. Taste is of pine needles, tangerine, wet grass, and toffee malt. Mild bitter finish. A nicely done IPA.
