A: The pour is a clear amber color with a finger of sticky off-white head that leaves some nice lacing.
S: Quite heavy on the caramel and toffee maltiness. The hop character is there, though in the background. It’s mostly spicy and herbal with a decent grass note, too. Just a hint of fruitiness on the back end.
T: Strangely toasty in nature with lots of bready malts and caramel. A slight bitterness to it with lots of woody/herbal hops and a light spicy note, too. There is still a fair amount of sweetness, too.
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Too sweet without the real intense and citrusy hop profile that I tend to look for in an IPA. Dedollewaitor (16158) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 26, 2010
