Pours a deep orange, slight red hue..little to no head..aroma is almost non-existent however reminds me of nestea ice tea mix..palate and mouthfeel arent very memorable either..slight spice..and lemon note..however finishes with an odd bitterness to me and leaves the mouth with a strange flat soda like coating...bottled in august..perhaps a fresher bottle would have been better...below average for the style...

Hazy orange in body with a thin white head. Citrus is the main hop player here. Quaffable and nice enough.

12fl oz bottle poured into a shaker. Dark amber with a tiny off-white cap. Very earthy flavor, like liquefied mulched wood. Lingering bitter finish. Full body, lots of carbonation. Belch City over here. This thing is incredibly heavy, a meal in a glass. This is an oddly flavored IPA. It definitely has plenty of hops but certainly doesnt taste like an IPA. This was a blind rate and I could not identify the style. Not bad but I dont think its a good example of the style.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2016 Bottle picked up at Surdyks and consumed at home on a beautiful Minneapolis evening in April. Pint glass. A hazy looking IPA with an attractive golden orange color with about a half finger of slightly off white head. Nose has elements of pine and a mild citrus. A little bit bready as well. Taste has qualities of tangerine/citrus brightness along with a pine and a bit of floral. There is a healthy malty presence that really kicks into gear in the middle of the sip. The finish brings the hoppy bitterness back into play nicely. Im getting a syrupy mouthfeel without bringing the sticky resin presence that makes a good IPA for me. Falls into that average to slightly above average IPA category...one Im probably not going to seek out again once this six pack is finished.

Can from Top Hops, New York. Clear golden/orange beer with a rich offwhite head. Hoppy citrus and caramel aroma, grapes, biscuits, oranges, some floral hops. Sweet hoppy flavor, grapes, orange notes, caramel notes. Was hoping for more.

Really good brew, more on line as an English IPA in my opinion. Edge of west coast style but the earthy hop and peppery spice leaned more English. Pretty good malt profile too.

12 oz. bottle from Woodmans Market, Waukesha, WI. Dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of lemon zest and fresh pine. Taste is of pine needles, tangerine, wet grass, and toffee malt. Mild bitter finish. A nicely done IPA.
