12 oz. bottle carefully poured to my 1/2 pint taster so as not to rouse the finger width of sediment at the bottom of the bottle, thus displaying a bright, clear, orangy gold color, with a persistent, white, frothy head, and equally lasting, curtainy lacing. The aroma was light, estery/syrupy sweetness, tangerine, and a touch of ruby/red grapefruit. The flavor initially presented a little grain & biscuit, then potent, earthy, rind-like, lingering hop bitterness that dominated the malt, yet was subtly smoothed by it. Medium bodied, with decent carbonation. A good example of a hop strong, yet nicely sessionable Pale. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JAN 29, 2013
12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy, burnt orange with a half finger of white head. Aroma of crisp citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is medium bitter. Pine and citrus with a good dose of grapefruit. Medium bodied with a somewhat slick texture. Lively carbonation and a very very long finish. Overall, pretty darn good. I’ll be happy to drink this again, but I want to try it a little fresher. ccex (1344) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 4, 2012
12 oz bottle pours a clear golden amber color with moderate white head. Aroma has very noticeable citrus and floral hops and some caramel malts. Taste is slightly bitter with a chalky, nutty finish. Body is light to medium without too much carbonation. Easily drinkable and very enjoyable. portableparty (2366) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - NOV 25, 2012
12 oz. bottle. Pours hazy bright orange with a soft creamy foamy white head that fades to a film and subtle lacing. Aroma has sweet herbal/caramel malt and a very subtle lemon citrus hop scent. Taste is bitter hops and bright lemon citrus notes with a nice balance of herbal caramel malt. palate is medium and crisp with a chalky dry finish. Very nice! theisti (4156) - Kansas, USA - OCT 23, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 25, 2012 12 oz bottle purchased as part of a mix a six at the Festival in Onalasaka, Wisconsin. Jul bottled on notched on the label. The pour is a lightly hazed orange golden with a one inch light tan head. The aroma is dank, light orange citrus, floral and general dusty bitterness. The taste is a nice blend of dank floral herbal hops and toasted lightly sweet malt. Crisp clean taste. The palate is light to medium bodied, clean, with a slight mineral dry finish. Dank, bitter earthiness lingers nicely. Tasty one, I enjoyed this.

Pours copper color, nose of flowers, citrus, bread, yeast. Real bitter up front, followed by nice bread notes, a bit of sweet honey and oats. Not a big pale fan, but this is very well balanced. GranvilleTim (1857) - Granville, Illinois, USA - SEP 20, 2012
Golden pour with an off white head. Aroma is malty and pine. Tasty is malt with a dry aftertaste. johnbuck100 (306) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 6, 2012
Purchased at bottle shop in Philly. Just now noticed that is was bottled in Nov of 2011, so 10 months old (bummer). However, this pale ale still has a nice dry crisp hoppy character with a unique spiciness that I found appealing. I would like to taste a freshly bottled brew of this. This would be a nice session beer. stuckinprague (43) - - AUG 22, 2012
Aroma is malt with a hint of citrus hops. Taste is smooth and orange citrus with a bitter finish. Palate is a touch oily meaty (just a touch, it is only a pale ale). Overall very impressed with this full flavoured APA. Cheers. One of my favourite styles. Frank (4220) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 19, 2012
A decent pale ale but with a somewhat soapy bitterness in the finish. Pretty though with a long lasting head.
