COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This crisp, zesty American Pale is characterized by the sharp bitterness missing in many domestic pale ales. The clean finish and slight fruity notes help make our flagship brew a delightful treat.

Nice color and good somewhat slim head. But bitter and not enjoyably so. a Think creamy feel that i did not like.

Deep, slightly hazy copper color with a nice white head. Aroma and flavor are dominated by hops with a bitter finish and hints of caramel and grape fruit.

Very light, mild citrus aroma. Golden, carbonated with white head. Citrus, sour fruit (apricot?) and metallic flavor notes. Lack of hop notes; watery with mild bitter finish.

Pours a pretty orange/bronze with a good finger worth of solid off-white head. Beer appears somewhat cloudy, but tons of tiny bubbles race to the top throughout. Very nice orange fruit aroma. Good bitterness in the taste but leaves as quickly as it appears. If I were drinking this in a blind taste test, I’d think it was an IPA rather than an American Pale. Well done.

12oz bottle. ~10mo old bottle. Wildflower honey and orange in the aroma along with a little biscuit. Smells great. Hazy copper color with a small, but pretty, off-white head. Taste is resiny and bitter with citrus and light pine. The malt shows itself briefly, near the end, but the finish is all hops and hops bitterness. I wonder what this is like fresh, probably a good old Wisconsin Hop Bomb similar to Ale Asylum’s Hopalicious.

not much of an aroma. a pretty mild and slightly fruity front finishes super bitter. refreshing and very drinkable.

This beer pours an amber body, and just like the description says, it has a very sharp bitterness, that is a little unbalanced in my opinion. Hops are quick to give way to very smooth caramel undertones and biscuit malts. Aroma is pleasent, floral and soft pine.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2008 I retried this one, and it’s pretty solid. Good balance of malt and hoppiness. Quite drinkable.

Nose is floral hops. Taste is rich with crystal malts, though the hops jump out later on. Refreshing and light, packed with flavor. caramel and bitterness. Nice.

Aroma is a little light but otherwise this is a solid APA. Good orange color with lots of bubbles and a solid head. Aroma is bread with some spicey citrus notes. Taste is mild toffee with some citrus. Nice bittering effect at the end.
