Faint amonia, dishwater aroma. Gold color with no visible carbonation. A ring of white head around edge of glass. Nice, cascade sheet lace. Not much head retention. There’s a definite bitterness; well balanced. A little dry. I would drink this again. portableparty (2398) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - NOV 25, 2012
12 oz. bottle. Pours hazy bright orange with a soft creamy foamy white head that fades to a film and subtle lacing. Aroma has sweet herbal/caramel malt and a very subtle lemon citrus hop scent. Taste is bitter hops and bright lemon citrus notes with a nice balance of herbal caramel malt. palate is medium and crisp with a chalky dry finish. Very nice! Pours orange amber with a small white head, traces of it last throughout. Aroma is citrus and pine. Taste is sweet to bitter. Sticky mouthfeel. Overall this is a decent APA, nice balance of bitters and sweetness. fata2683 (2202) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUN 13, 2011
Bottle pours hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is fruity esters and pale grains. Flavor is grassy with a fairly assertive grassy hop finish. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - MAY 6, 2006

This beer pours an amber body, and just like the description says, it has a very sharp bitterness, that is a little unbalanced in my opinion. Hops are quick to give way to very smooth caramel undertones and biscuit malts. Aroma is pleasent, floral and soft pine. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - MAR 12, 2011
Light amber color with a fresh scent. Has a light crisp taste with a lingering bitterness. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - APR 30, 2010
medium gold pour with a thin white head.
aroma is soft and fruity, slightly earthy. Sweet apple, apricot,
Flavour is again very soft and malty with a slightly spicy hop character. Styles (2016) - Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA - NOV 16, 2004
Pours a golden amber with a decent head but gone quickly. I might be the minority, but I thought it had a flowery hop aroma. Sweet malt up front, smooth middle and a pretty good hop bite at the end. Pretty nice lacing. Shouls be a great summer beer. Bill Becker (2010) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - NOV 3, 2017

I got this bottle in a trade with Grizzly Adams. Thanks Cole!
This one pours a hazy orange-gold with a 1 finger head of foam that doesn't recede much at all and there's some good lacing.
The smell has notes of grapefruit and caramel malt with the hops *just* having the edge.
The taste kind of surprised me. Biscuit and caramel is what I noticed first and then some grapefruit in the background that adds enough bitterness to balance the malt. Nice.
It has a medium mouthfeel and it finishes with a slight grassy bitterness. Quite a nice APA with more than ample portions of malt and I like where this one went. I'd definitely drink this again as it is a good beer all around.
