This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

A decent pale ale but with a somewhat soapy bitterness in the finish. Pretty though with a long lasting head.

Hazy yellow/gold with thick white head. Roasted nuts, fruit and pine on the nose. Medium mouthfeel, with lingering bitter finish. Pine, vanilla, citrus, nuts, and light malt make up the palate on this. Not bad session beer!

Draft @ Hilltop in Stevens Point. Really pale yellow in the glass, macro-swill appearance. Aroma is subdued, but some decent fruit and hop character. Taste is watery and fairly bland, with some citrus and a decent kjick from the hops @ the end. All in all - pretty pedestrian, maybe a little less.

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear golden with a soapy white head, aroma is of sweet malt with some barnyard funk mixed in, the flavor has a slight hop kick and it has a light sweet finish, overall this one doesn’t really impress me.

Pours slightly hazy orange with white head, aroma has notes of some caramel, pine, touch of oxidized hops with a touch of bread, earth. Taste is slight caramel, bread, with some grass and pine, finishing slightly bitter. Not bad, but a bit of off flavor ruins a good thing.

Yellow pale but good amount of lace. Astringent in mouth dry finish. Passable pale bitter. Apple juicy taste. Quite drinkable.Understated English style carbonation. Unknown ABV but I guess it to be close to 6%. Some like it, not bad. Thank you again JPM30.

Pours a pale golden yellow. Some small lacing left on my glass. Aroma is caramel and floral hops. Flavor is loaded with caramel sweetness and some hop bitterness in the finish. Rather unimpressive.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a small diminishing off white head. Aromas of bread, light carmel and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, bread and earthiness with a smooth moderatly bitter finish.

Poured into a pint glass. 3.5 A: Clear medium yellow color. Two fingers of frothy white head. Retention is about average andd a decent amount of lacing is left. 3.0 S: Grainy and lightly bready malts. Some toastiness and light neutral malt sweetness. Barely perceptible earthy hoppiness. 3.0 T: Tastes like the nose. Mainly grainy with some breadiness. Toasty with a moderate sweetness and light earthy hops. 3.0 M: Lighter medium body. Perhaps a touch too much carbonation. Neither very creamy nor crisp. 3.0 D: Not bad, but screams average throughout. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 07-10-2012 02:06:58
