Clear pale amber pour, large white head. Good retention and lacing. Modest grapefruit hops aroma. Flavor leads off with grapefruit, then into hops bitterness and a very bread-crusty malt profile. Lasting quinine bitterness in the finish, offset by a little bit of lingering tartness. Thin bodied, rather dry, refreshing. JK (6095) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - JUN 10, 2009
A mid-range pale ale. Great appearance, gold color, a little haze, and big, white, rocky head. Mild aroma with hops and an acidic character. The hop presence in the flavor is deeper, some citrus, and mild bitterness balanced by malt flavor. jjkuck10 (66) - , Wisconsin, USA - AUG 16, 2009
Hazy, golden yellow-orange apperance with a weak white head. Aroma is malt, sweetness, and some hopps with fruity undertones. Taste is fruity sweetness with minimal hopps, ends bitter. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - APR 3, 2012
12oz bottle. Rating #120. Dark amber with a little gold to brighten it up, nice sticky white head that left some good lacing. Nice piney aroma with a little sweetness. Above average bitterness, a little tropical with some more pine and a nice malty sweetness. Tasty stuff. (2296) wlajwl (6747) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Aroma is citrus, a hint of pine and malts. The flavor is citrus, slightly sweet malts and a dry finish.

Clean hop dominated aroma, medium malt hop balance in the taste, nicely blended, high carbonation gives it a harsh mouthfeel, taste gets a little thin at the end. Still a high quality brew thatI wish would be distributed down by Milwaukee MIBRomeo (2570) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 26, 2006
nice apa... a light orangish pour a touch cloudy w/ a fluffy white head. Aroma is lightly hopped traces of grass and toucehs of citurs not much malt pieces of grahm crackers. Palate is nicely coated smooth. Flavor is a nice lightly hoppy citrus toucehs of pine/grass a very light malt easy to drink, quite good. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 25, 2008
Nose is floral hops. Taste is rich with crystal malts, though the hops jump out later on. Refreshing and light, packed with flavor. caramel and bitterness. Nice. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 6, 2008
This beer pours an amber body, and just like the description says, it has a very sharp bitterness, that is a little unbalanced in my opinion. Hops are quick to give way to very smooth caramel undertones and biscuit malts. Aroma is pleasent, floral and soft pine. keoki182 (305) - West Bend, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 3, 2008
Pours a pretty orange/bronze with a good finger worth of solid off-white head. Beer appears somewhat cloudy, but tons of tiny bubbles race to the top throughout. Very nice orange fruit aroma. Good bitterness in the taste but leaves as quickly as it appears. If I were drinking this in a blind taste test, I’d think it was an IPA rather than an American Pale. Well done.
