Nice ale, honey flavor goes perfectly with the hoppiness. Smooth drinkable beer another good one from central waters.

Poured with a very short-lived fizzy head and no lace. Aroma is grain and a bit of honey. Flavor is mainly honey up front barest hint of bitter and some Carbonic tang. Body is okay and it has a long sweet honey finish.

12 oz. bottle from Gretchen. Thanks again! Pours a clear gold with almost no head. Honey and cereal, tea, earth, grass, and hay. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, thin, smooth, earthy mouthfeel. Fine.

From the bottle the pour is crystal clear and straw colored with a thin white that dissipates quickly. The aroma is strong roasted flavors and cereal. The taste is cereal, a little citrus brightening the malty body of the beer. The taste of honey light but is presen. The mouthfeel is thin.

Sampled from the tap at Mr. Brews Stevens Point. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is honey forward with grain and straw notes supporting. Flavor combines honey and sweet grains well with a bit of hay underlying.

Bottle from Brian at JB’s. Yes, JB I helped get rid of one of these so it would not be sitting in your fridge forever. Lightly hazed dark straw color with a moderate white head. Lightly grainy and a bit of dry honey and herbal hops in the aroma. Bready flavors with a lightly honey sweetness in the background.

Bottle from Brian. More body and flavor than I expected. Weird clove and grass nose. Grassy taste. Nice palate and dry finish.

Picked up one as part of a build your own variety pack. Wish I had grabbed more. This is a very nice summer beer. Easy drinking, with a touch of honey. Will have to look for this again.

The bartenders at the Central Waters tap house in Amherst are endlessly patient with new customers. On occasions, I’ve seen people order unavailable items like a Bud Light. The bartender smile politely and explain that they serve only Central Waters beers. "Try our Honey Blonde Ale instead," the bartenders will say. "I think you’ll like it." Every time, the bartenders are right. The newly enlightened go away with a well-balanced ale that has a strong malt backbone and snappy, bitter finish.

Meh. One of very few misses from CW. Not bad, just predictable and boring. A grainy blonde ale with some honey sweetness.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear golden, white head and some lacing. Aroma of bread, some hops and some honey. Taste is bready and malty with a touch of honey. OK beer, easy to drink.
