MN Ratebeer Winter Gathering, January 30, 2010. Hazy gold color with a large head. Light grain aroma along with hay. Grassy and hay flavor. Light bitterness. Like a weak APA. DalzAle (2040) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - JAN 31, 2010
Bottle sample. Light pear color, little carbonation and an aroma of stale hops. Flavor was also very light stale hops and some bitter orange on the finish. I’ve like some of their other beers quite a bit, but not this one. JK (6342) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - JAN 31, 2010
Not that much to say; when I see a wet hop beer, I am hoping for intense hop character. This beer doesn’t have it. Gold color, and very light in every way. Some grain, almost no aroma, and a little bit of hops in the flavor. Relabel this as a cream ale or blonde or something, and drinkers won’t be let down. Straw gold color with faint head. Soapy hops on the aroma. A sweet hoppy body. 6/3/6/3/12

Cloudy gold, abundant frothy off-white head, sticky lace. (Throw a lot of six-row malt at something and it’s going to look good.) Faint lemon aroma. Flavor leads with soapy hops bitterness and a twist of lemon. Malts are decidedly husky with a bit of a sour lactic note that I don’t care for. Medium bodied, but a syrupy impression lingers.

Bomber courtesy of Ughsmash. Pours a clear yellow color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of hops, grain, yeast, honey, light caramel. Flavor is also sweet and floral with notes of floral hops, light grapefruit, grain, yeast, honey. Light to medium body with a pleasing floral hop finish. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 10, 2010
Bottle shared by keifdog. Pours yellow with a white head. Nose is malt, grass, hops, slight citrus with noticeable fresh-hop pine bite. Flavor is similar with a significant fresh hop grassy earthiness. Very enjoyable. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - JAN 5, 2010
Peach colored pour with a sudsy rim around the glass. Buttery, grassy aroma. Diacetyl bomb. Flavor is butter and vegetables, grass, some hops in there somewhere but its so hidden by the brewing flaws. The hops dont save it from the drain pour. nuplastikk (6514) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 28, 2009
22oz bomber. Hazy golden-orange color. Small off white head. Mellow seawater hop aroma. Rather mellow and subdued, not unlike an APA with its creamy, earthy flavors. Not that aggressive, ends up having an odd soapy lemon-lime taste. The finish is a little weak too, with some thin and dirty malt tastes. Almost tastes like there is some underlying diacetyl. Mild and unimpressive for the style.

Bottle… Lightly hazed yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. The bouquet offers pale grains, mild leather and barely-perceptible acidity. Full-bodied and creamy with gentle carbonation. Fresh lupulin and pale malts provide perfect balance. Mid-length, crisp, refreshing finish.
