Had this one on tap yesterday, finally. Super tastey beer. Very unique. Bright hazey golden colour with a decent sized fluffhead. Aroma is instant hops. One of the most aromatic beers I’ve had in a long time. Super aromatic, fresh and fruity, lots of fruit in fact. Very tropical. TAste is really not that hoppy. As a matter of fact, there is quite a bit of noticeable candi sugar throughou this beer. Hops are present, but concealed well in the sweetness. IF you can picture a sticky fresh hop lightly covered in sugar. Very astringent, mouthfeel. Creamy. Really fantastic beer. bonk0076 (99) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 11, 2009
Golden in color with a slight head. Pine and citrus aroma. Mild hop flavor with a balanced finish. Brigadier (3680) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - FEB 23, 2013

Thanks to cbfobes for sending this as part of a recent trade. I can’t wait to try the version from Lakefront as a contrast in the near future. Drinkable and with a fresh bitterness it brings interest to a cold winter evening.
Aroma / Appearance - Warm caramel colored liquid pours easily into the glass. An ivory head falls down like melting snow. Grapefruit, watermelon, and grassy hops brighten the air. Orange glaze tops off an inviting beer.
Flavor / Palate - Watermelon, grass, and woody resin hit the tongue with a single mission. Soon the bitterness rises up like drinking liquified oak trees. Eventually though it settles down into a nice drinking beer. I wish I could their stuff locally.
Bottle courtesy of bonk0076. Hazy lightly gold pour. Light white head. Light aroma as well. Some sweet flavors and light hop grain. Not hoppy at all though. Dry taste with a sweet berry flavor. Nice finish that remains desirable. Bit of spice. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 13, 2011
It pours a nice clear gold with a bright white head.
The nose is subtle, mild and grassy.
The flavor is malty with a hint of citrusy and grassy hops.
The mouthfeel is smooth and it goes down easy.
It is a basic, basic beer, a good session beer.

Pours a hazy golden color with medium bubbly white head. Aroma is of light honey, floral hops, and mild sweet malt. Taste is grainy malt, honey, light fruit, citrus hops, and light candied sugar. Taste is a bit abrupt at first with a nutty malt which finishes off like a sweet-tart. Good sessionable beer. Petrucci914 (910) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 18, 2009
Thanks for sharing, bro! Pours a light amber color with a medium off-white head which leaves a few streaks of lacing. Aroma has decent caramel malts, floral hops, and some moderate citrus. Taste is much the same. It is very balanced without going overboard into your typical Midwest/California IPA. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Bottle shared with Brigadier, thanks! Gold pour, white head, good retention/some lace. Aroma of citrus, watermelon, grassy hops, light cracker. Taste is lightly bitter, grass/citrus/watermelon(?) hops, cracker. Palate is soft, dry, light bitter finish. Super refreshing. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 10, 2010
