Pretty brash and edgy. I can picture this being hot shit in 2009. This is trying badly to be the most bitter beer on the block, which is not the modern way of thinking about IPA. Meh. mjmoen (536) - - MAR 30, 2017
B-. Pours a clear golden color with white head. A little strong, surprised it’s not more bitter Ronritter (736) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAR 19, 2017

12 oz single bottle from Hy Vee Wine & Spirits - Muscatine. Light hazy orange appearance with a lacy, lingering beige head. Aroma of musty hops, toasted malt, light citrus zest and light yeast. Similar flavor, musty and moderately bitter with mild sweetness. Medium to full body with a lingering resinous hop finish. Unfortunately there is no freshness date and this is most likely a Shelf Turd. MrTipple (4968) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2016
Lemon and other citrus fruits, sweet grain malts, caramel. Hazy, dark gold, small, creamy, white head. Light bitter. Bitterness intensifies, bitter orange, grapefruit, resin and pine, soft carbonation, very bitter and dry finish. Very nice IIPA, nice citrus fruits and sweet malts throughout. 8 ounce draught snifter at Mitchell’s Hilltop, Stevens Point WI, August 2nd. Pours a cloudy, not-quite-opaque bright orange, with a bit of wispy head that lasts...citrus (orange and grapefruit) dominates the nose, with a touch of pine resin and a bit of burnt/smoky woodiness...drier than most to the tongue, though some noticeable fruity sweetness sets in around the middle...reasonably strong bitterness throughout, light acidity, generally well-balanced though there’s a bit too much of that woody dryness on the palate, and it’s just a might thin and attenuated. Solid enough but certainly nothing special to my tastes. mstrcrwly (1000) - New York, USA - MAY 11, 2016

pours a slightly murky amber orange with a medium off white head. Outstanding aroma of tropical floral, pineapple, tangerine citrus. Juicy mouth feel. Big citrus taste. Grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple. The 108 IBU’s are muted at first, but creep in and take over, but still with a grapefruit citrus twang. I’m a hop bomb lover, and this one is right in my wheelhouse! Love it!
