12oz bottle to tulip. Pours black with brown frothy head. Aroma of choc, caramel, vanilla and earth. Taste is big choc, vanilla, caramel, toffee and some creamy coffee (cappuccino). Mouthfeel is light-medium for style. Finish is nice bitter choc. Very good (choc) porter...at least it feels good tonight. Carlisle (767) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 23, 2015
Draft. Dark brown color with tan head and some lacing. Coffee aroma with caramel note. Sweet coffee upfront followed by mouthcoating coffee, chocolate notes and crisp, bitter bite. Lighter body than expected for a porter. Long finish.

Draught @ Albion. Dark brown with little reddish tint, faint vanilla aroma, low carbonation, roasted malt taste with little alcohol undertone, thin body, medium bitter burnt finish. Nice and smooth albeit slightly watery. katrinaez (2086) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 19, 2015
Aroma had malt but not heavy. Brown color. Caramel and leaves. Fall flavors. Not great. Not bad, very average. Tap Hoprider (699) - DENMARK - SEP 19, 2015
Clear brown pour with a beige frothy head. US shelfie porters are funny.. I swear the ones i’ve had could just as well have been a brown ale. Taste: some semi-bitter roasted malt, nutty brown flavor, chocolate chip cookie and a hint of licorice and bitter coffee. Pretty light body. Semi dry aftertadte and a fairly short one too.

A hitten surprise brought to you (me) by hoprider.
Pour a clear dark brown, with a small slightly off white head. Aroma of nuts, slight chocolate. Slight coffee and roasted malts.
Taste is very slightly up front, with a medium roasted bitterness. Medium/slighty watery body, with a lively carb. malkyore (377) - - SEP 7, 2015
Had this beer with brunch (because I’m fancy like that...) and that is its true calling. The only thing I could have asked for was for this to be a coffee Porter. Then I would have been like woah! Patrickctenchi (6629) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - SEP 3, 2015
Dark, cloudy brown with a small tan head.
Aroma is a little mushroomy, caramel malt, chocolate.
Bitter dark chocolate malt, caramel taste.
Rich, earthy....fairly bitter and dry.
Pretty good........interesting flavour.

Bottle. Vegetal caramel chocolate malt aroma. Chestnut brown with moderate light tan head. Lightly sweet earthy chocolate-caramel malt and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Decent body. Drier than the typical porter. Nice. jmohno (1635) - Iowa, USA - AUG 14, 2015
