Pours clear copper with white head. Aroma is light yeast. Flavors are yeast/bread, faintly sweet caramel malt, followed by a peppery spice hops. The finish is a blend of the above. Nicely balanced, leaning towards sweet but not too much. Relatively light on the palate but without being watery. Nice. Maltser85 (358) - Fargo, North Dakota, USA - SEP 15, 2014
Copper color and clear. Clean lager nose. Maybe a hint of hop mid palate with a clean finish. Decent lager, not great Oktoberfest. Niko100 (2891) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 10, 2014
Nice amber/copper color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of caramel malt, hay/grain, & spice; Flavor of slight sweet malt, caramel, some hops, and spice; Decent. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - SEP 7, 2014
Bottle: Copper/amber pour with a quick medium off white head.
aroma is toasted malt, caramel,
flavour is toasted malt, caramel, light to medium sweetness with a nutty/woody balance. Bit lighter bodied than other examples, but clean and well balanced and very sessionable even at 5.5. commonmac (1230) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 5, 2014
Tap at Pizza Luce. Pint glass. Copper, almost amber with a small, but diligent head. Lacing is strong. Aroma is super sweet with hints of caramel. Unfortunately it’s downhill after the initial aroma. Taste leans mostly on malt without much balance. Leaves you.with an almost burnt sugar flavor but some bitter notes too. If.they could bottle the aroma, it would be significantly better.

Bottle. A pretty boring and straightforward "Octoberfest" lager. The flavor was mild, but smooth, easily drinkable but offering little originality or contrast. Some caramel notes, but very subtle. Many better fall beers out there. murphious2000 (36) - - AUG 28, 2014
Well done, for the boring style of "Octoberfest" beers that come out this time of year. Somewhat earthy yeast aroma upon opening bottle and pouring a thick head of off white foam. A very pleasant sweetness of malt in the first sip with maybe a little hop drying in the finish---very drinkable as all fest beers should be. sawbuck (725) - Round Lake, Illinois, USA - AUG 19, 2014
Aroma of roasted caramel and some toffee. Orange in color with notes of brown. Thin, light-tan head. Sweet caramel, with some hidden roasted notes. Sweetness continues throught, with a mild bitterness at the end. Pretty straight forward...not much depth. O.K. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 23, 2014
More of an average and very drinkable Oktoberfest lager. This one has a lot of malty character with just a bit of hops. Expect mainly bready, roasty flavors on this. Scipio (1046) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - OCT 28, 2013
Pours a clear copper with minimal head. The aroma is somewhat subdued, with caramel, bread, and hints of grassy hops and apple. The taste is dominated by maple and caramel, to go along with mild grass and bread. It isn’t complicated, but it tastes alright. Very short maple aftertaste. Light to medium in body, slick in texture, and below average in carbonation. This is one of your more generic Octoberfest beers.
