Draft. Deep red-copper color with thin off-white head that dissipates quickly; substantial lacing. Light biscuit malt aroma with faint cinnamon notes. Rich toasted biscuit balanced with done bitterness in the mouthcoating finish.

Bottle, shared by me, in my dining room, just now.ARH (1125) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 5, 2015
Pours a sort of brick red with a small head and some spotty lacing on the glass.
The aroma is malty, it smells like bread dough and wet grain along with some light caramel and leafy hops.
The flavor is mildly sweet with a nice leafy hoppiness, it’s got a little caramel & lots of maltiness. It’s nicely balanced with a good bitterness & has some light fruity elements.
Better than expected, but still just sort of one of those red ales the likes of which aren’t to my taste.
12oz bottle, poured into a shaker. The aroma has a note of floral initially, and is followed shortly by nutty, and caramel malt aromas that are mostly roasty. There’s also a light biscuit note in there. It’s a hazy caramel color with an effervescence to it. The white head retains a dense, medium thin ring and a speckled surface with only a light lace on the glass. The taste is light sweet and medium bitter. A fuzzy carbonation accompanies the slick, medium bodied beer. There’s a dry caramel malt flavor to the beer, with a roastiness, and grass. The grass is strongest during the finish which also has a roasty caramel flavor. The roastiness and malt stick around with the addition of biscuits in the aftertaste as well as a dried citrus peel bittering. That1Guy (2236) - Colorado, USA - DEC 23, 2014
12 oz bottle picked up in a variety sixer. Clear amber pour with a decent white head. Malty, biscuit nose. Not much going on, but no major flaws either. Flavor is pleasant and smooth malt, and a sweet, dry finish. Very pleasant. vikingguy (1103) - Carver, Minnesota, USA - NOV 12, 2014
Red with foamy white head. Malty aroma. Taste - minerally, caramel and light grassy hops. Not bad. Easy drinking and malty.

Bottle. Aroma is pleasant and color is great for a red ale, but the taste and palate are lacking. The flavor is thin and metallic -- very unrewarding. akoeninger (755) - Wisconsin, USA - JUL 2, 2014
In tap at Graze. Good copper color, floral nose, slightly sweet taste with some metallic aftertaste, hops are flowery. Slight bitterness. Medium body.

A very drinkable and approachable red ale. This one is a good beginner red. Not overly complex, offers a good amount of malt character but balanced out by the hop profile. BeerInHeaven (449) - Brillion, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 22, 2014
pours a rich red amber with a medium tan head. aroma is malt and bread. A nice taste. some spice, some nut, and a hint of bitterness on the finish. Another nice number from Central Waters. Good beer! beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - MAR 9, 2014
Pours a clear reddish medium amber. Small to medium frothy creamy tight white head. A blend of sweet caramel malty and earthy hops. A hint of fruity. Medium body. Smooth and creamy. Maybe a little sticky. Mild earthy bitterness and moderate dryness. Toasty. Minerals. Pretty good.
