Hazy amber with a thin, off-white head.
Caramel malt, a bit of bread in the aroma.
Taste is earthy, caramel malt, nuts....
Fairly rich....not bad. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - SEP 13, 2004
Bottled: Slightly hazed coppery red hue with small and fading fizzy head and little lace. The aroma has notes of caramel, buttered toast, faint hazelnut, aromatic and wisp of pine hops. The taste starts mildly bitter with a equal dose of background malts. Balanced but none too exciting. Some minor fruit and nut tones hidden mostly. The finish is basic easy bitterness and a dry earthiness. The feel is lively and fizzy. Just your average old American Amber. Pass. Pailhead (6541) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - NOV 3, 2004
Bottle: Strong aroma of caramel and light hops. Pours a dark, slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head. Nice lacing. LIght malty initial flavor with a moderate caramel and light hop finish. Not bad and definitely better than an average of 2.82. Suttree (6415) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 24, 2010
Cloudy brownish red, with a thin layer of foam. Faint aroma, but there is little bit of caramel and some piney hops. Nicely full bodied, with a nice mix of caramel and pine. I think I’ve typed the word caramel 3000 times since I’ve been on ratebeer... nuplastikk (6312) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 8, 2009
Draft at the OF. Red-brown color, nice foamy head. Malty amber aroma. Thick red malt and a touch of vanilla. Quite nice, slight pungency. Medium to full bodied. Malt monster, sweet and rich. Amber aficionado’s dream come true.

Amber to brown in color with a smaller light tan head. Mild malt and honey aromas. Dry malt and floral flavors. Acidic in the finish. JK (6200) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - OCT 11, 2009
A decent session beer. Lightly roasted malt and grain. Very light hops. Nice amber color and some sediment. Nothing exciting, a little nut flavor, and very drinkable. Skyview (6076) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - APR 3, 2007
Pick up a bottle from Trigs in Wausau, Wisconsin. Poured a clear light reddish amber with an ivory cream head. It had some nice lacing as this went down. Nose sensed caramel, toast grains, brown sugar, and nut. Grainy through the mouth with bitterness around the tongue. Flavors of caramel, and some toffee hops. An average red ale Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - NOV 22, 2007
I’m really getting to like this brewery, but this is a rather nondescript Amber. Looks nice, a clear copper/amber body with a fluffy off-white head. The faint aroma has some toffee, apples, and butterscotch. (Bad bottle?) Add a light floral/earthy hoppiness to the flavor and you have the whole picture. I’d only repeat this one to see if my bottle was off.markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 29, 2009

Thanks to the nice guys at Oldsmar Tap House for sharing this one. Pours amber-red with a white head. Nose is malt, pine hops, and some grounded caramel. Flavor is malt and hops. Standard amber- medium-bodied and pretty nice.
