Tasted from a 12oz bottle obtained in a trade. The stamp on the side of this bottle says it was bottled in January, I assume this was 2010. Pours dark brown with a thick tan head that leaves thick lace along the side of the glass. Before I even pick the glass up, I can smell the strong aroma of milk chocolate. A closer nose reveals much more bitter aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, and roasted malt, in addition to brown sugar, molasses, and maple. The flavor is sweet milk chocolate, molasses, and maple up front, and moves smoothly into the bitter notes of coffee, dark chocolate, and roasted malt, all with the oaky bourbon flavor in the background. The body is medium plus with average carbonation and a long coffee and bourbon finish. Christian (13775) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 15, 2010
Very dark brown with a small, but lasting tan head Big and intense aroma of coffee, chocolate and bourbon. Sweet licorice, coffee and bourbon flavour with lots of hot alcohol and a lasting roasted finish deyholla (12033) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 12, 2010
Bottle shared by someone at the Sean’s, thanks! Poured dark brown with a grayish brown head that dissipated quickly to the edges. Aroma was full of coffee with some roasted malt an a hint of underlying dark chocolate and bourbon. Flavor was full of intense espresso with a slight roasted malt note. Would have enjoyed more complexity as the coffee really too over everything in the beer. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - OCT 4, 2010
Thanks to darklordlager for this beer.
This black pour has a dry roasty, coffee-ish flavor. I didn’t get a lot of "bourbon" (oak, vanilla) in it. There’s some "woodyness". To me, it was a straight up coffee stout lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 1, 2010

So, here I’ve been telling people that I’m weary of big, over the top Imperial Stouts and how they fatigue my palate and then I get to this and have to give out another 4+ rating. Geez. I guess I am a sucker for coffee in a beer. Nice coffee flavors, mixed with notes of vanilla, maple, and perhaps a hint of chocolate. Really good. Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2010. Pours ruby brown with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is cocoa and coffee roast. Flavor adds coffee beans and vanilla. Smooth palate. Dry roasted end. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2010
This poured a jet black color with a small light tan head. Aroma was lots of bourbon, lightly roasted coffee and some chocolate as well. Flavor was loaded with bourbon, mainly sweet from the chocolate, the coffee is there but does not contribute much bitterness. Overall a great beer. fonefan (50698) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2010

Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, roasted, caramel, cigar, wood, dark roasted - coffee. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
