12oz bottle from Kevin at Hangar 24. Rating #80. Murky brown pour with a real light tan head. Chocolate and light coffee make up the majority of the aroma, some bourbon as well in there. Malty flavor, more coffee, but not overwhelming, very tasty. ) Ungstrup (37333) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2009
Bottled. A hazy re-brown beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and tar as well as lighter notes of smoke, chocolate, and coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, coffee, chocolate, and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks CaptainCougar for coming to Denmark and sharing this. joet (2604) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - SEP 7, 2009

Pours a very dark brown, almost black color that’s pretty much completely opaque except for very dark mahogany edges when held to a light source with a two finger frothy beige head that slowly fades into a lasting ring and cap, coating the glass with lacing on it’s way.
Nice roasty aroma with a huge chocolate malt presence and beautiful rosted coffee bean nose. The bourbon presence is a wonderful accompaniment not overpowering the other aromas. Also, there is some nice caramel, chocolate and toffee notes with subtle hops.
Very roasty mouthfeel with a lot more of a hop forward presence than expected. HUGE roated coffee bean flavor with hints of chocolate malt, caramel, oatmeal, toffee and a perfect dose of earthy bourbon. This beer is very complex and extremely well-balanced with none of the flavors overpowering the others. Quite unusual for a coffee and/or bourbon barrel aged beer. Silky smooth with a raosty yet sweet body and slightly dry finish. yespr (44811) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 30, 2009
