COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This smooth, creamy stout and a crackling fireplace are the perfect answer to a wintry evening in Wisconsin. The rich coffee flavor compliments the "warm, fuzzy feeling" you get from the abundant alcohol. Formerly a winter seasonal, named Satin Solstice.

bottle poured into Big Eddy snifter. pours very dark brownwith a nice thick off white/cream color head. aroma is coffee and chocolate with a little char in there as well. taste is coffee, chocolate, caramel, roasted malt with some mild booze heat. feels nice on the palate. medium bodied stout that is easy to drink. definitely worth picking up some of this brew

12-ounce bottle pours dark brown-black with a spritz of tan head and lacing. Aroma: prune juice, dark chocolate-covered sour cherries, black coffee. Flavor: the above, with milk chocolate, raisins, figs, dates, and a warming booze burn at the back. Mouthfeel: medium- to full-bodied. A bit too thin and watery for an imperial stout, yet certainly tasty.

Bottle. As satin solstice. So probably a tad old. Pours dark brown and hard to get a head. Aroma is Sherry oxidation. Vinous. Light licorice. Tart. Ooooh. Moderately acetic and acidic. Not good. Thin. Burning. No. Bad bottle. Bad.

Bottle; pours dark brown with a thin ring of beige head; aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee with hints of caramel and dark fruits; taste is slightly bittersweet with coffee and roasted malt with some light chocolate and caramel notes; finish is light bitter and roasty

This one disappointed me. Central Waters produces some very good brews but this is not one of them in my opinion. Much to thin and weak for a stout...they can do much better than this.

Best beer I’ve found in the US. I discovered it quite by accident and have been consuming for several months now. However, I’ve gained quite of bit of weight since I discovered so am wondering....HOW MANY CALORIES IN A BOTTLE OF SATIN SOLITUDE??

Draft. Aroma of plum. Lots of plum in the flavor, also some chocolate, raisin and a kind of juicy sweetness. Must be some oats in the malt bill, as this is a bit seaweedy. Nice but hardly imperial in abv, so not rating it as one. Were I too, it would suffer mightily.

Bottle, the pour is dark brown with light barely penetrating, the head is caramel brown and medium thick and creamy. The aroma is coffee, and coco nibs. The taste is milk chocolate, smooth and a beautiful stout. The mouthfeel is medium thick.

Very dark brown color, cloudy, with synapses shaped small head. Dusty bread aroma. Dark malts flavor, nutty, dusty, a bit of dry chocolate.
Nothing impressive, not even a real Imperial Stout.

Bottle - Cocoa and toffeee notes. Cloudy Amber with a small beige head. Toast and some cocoa with a long toasted bread finish. Lots of toast. Light for the style.
