Watery stout. Quickly dissipating head. Dark brown black color. Coffee and dark chocolate in the flavor. More smoke flavor than most imperials. Kind a flat carbonation with a oily texture.
On Tap Black pour with thin tan head Aroma of coffee and slight chocolate. taste of roasted malt and coffee very thin and watery. shawnmurphy (585) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - JUL 10, 2017
12-ounce bottle pours dark brown-black with a spritz of tan head and lacing. Aroma: prune juice, dark chocolate-covered sour cherries, black coffee. Flavor: the above, with milk chocolate, raisins, figs, dates, and a warming booze burn at the back. Mouthfeel: medium- to full-bodied. A bit too thin and watery for an imperial stout, yet certainly tasty. rosskyle (755) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 23, 2017
12oz bottle. Sweet coffee dark choc malt aroma. Malt dark choc malt flavor. Heavy body.

Bottle. As satin solstice. So probably a tad old. Pours dark brown and hard to get a head. Aroma is Sherry oxidation. Vinous. Light licorice. Tart. Ooooh. Moderately acetic and acidic. Not good. Thin. Burning. No. Bad bottle. Bad. gopherfan99 (2000) - Minnesota, USA - JAN 23, 2017

This one disappointed me. Central Waters produces some very good brews but this is not one of them in my opinion. Much to thin and weak for a stout...they can do much better than this. cloozeBrewGuide8 (1) - - DEC 2, 2016 does not count
Best beer I’ve found in the US. I discovered it quite by accident and have been consuming for several months now. However, I’ve gained quite of bit of weight since I discovered so am wondering....HOW MANY CALORIES IN A BOTTLE OF SATIN SOLITUDE?? TylerGreenDC (1032) - - NOV 26, 2016
Draft. Aroma of plum. Lots of plum in the flavor, also some chocolate, raisin and a kind of juicy sweetness. Must be some oats in the malt bill, as this is a bit seaweedy. Nice but hardly imperial in abv, so not rating it as one. Were I too, it would suffer mightily. George999 (462) - Colorado, USA - NOV 24, 2016
Bottle, the pour is dark brown with light barely penetrating, the head is caramel brown and medium thick and creamy. The aroma is coffee, and coco nibs. The taste is milk chocolate, smooth and a beautiful stout. The mouthfeel is medium thick. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 21, 2016

Very dark brown color, cloudy, with synapses shaped small head. Dusty bread aroma. Dark malts flavor, nutty, dusty, a bit of dry chocolate.
Nothing impressive, not even a real Imperial Stout.
