"Super Bock Stout is a black beer, produced from special malts which give it a distinct flavour and aroma, and a long-lasting creamy head. It differs from the other black beers on the market because it is richer in extract, more full-bodied and with a more complex (almost fruity), not-so-roasted taste and aroma."

Aroma; caramel, dark sweet malts, vanilla, cinnamon, cream. Look; modest beige head on black body. Taste; caramel, sweet dark malts, fruit note, milk note - chocolate in the finish. Feel; moving towards dry. Overall; stout? more as a schwarzbier. Oh I see, it is schwarzbier, then all right! [33cl.btl abv5% BB.09/2016 B@supermarket nearby Sintra]

A minha cerveja preta favorita! Muito equilibrada. Não é amarga. Tem algumas notas de chocolate/café.

Olhão 10/7 2016. 33 cl bottle from local minimarket. Black label telling me I am holding a stout. Pours opaque dark brown with off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma has caramel sweetness but nicely balanced bitter chocolate and coffee. Roasted dark malts. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Taste is suprisingly light for something called a "Stout". Taste is sweet followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is short and sweet. Fine enough - but not much of a stout.

Dark, coca-cola like with a off-white head. Aroma is mainly caramel with hints of coffee. Not so bad as expected.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark malts, paper, weeds, licorice, dark sugar, grass, minerals, grain, hay, sour coffee, alcohol. Taste is slightly sour-ish mineraly, weeds, grass, dark malts, paper, sour coffee, grain, minerals, bark, cardboard. Medium bitterness, sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!

DutchDrebus (6191) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - MAY 19, 2016
Bottle @ benzai. E150c colour with a small beige head. Smells slightly caramel, slightly chocolate, slightly sweet. Tastes some chocolate, slightly caramel. Simple but decent. Thin to medium body, soft carbo.

Benzai (16681) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAY 19, 2016
Bottle [thanks Joen for bringing this from holiday!] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Dark brown color with a deep dark red glare coming through, average to medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly dusty, a bit grainy, light brown candy sugar, lightly dark malts, soft to average malt bitter finish. Average body and carbonation. Decent.
