"Super Bock Stout is a black beer, produced from special malts which give it a distinct flavour and aroma, and a long-lasting creamy head. It differs from the other black beers on the market because it is richer in extract, more full-bodied and with a more complex (almost fruity), not-so-roasted taste and aroma."

Bottled from supermarket in Albufeira, Portugal. Black appearance, small brown head. Malty nose, caramel, roasted, some liquorice. Very sweet flavor, lots of liquorice, some malts. Little bit bitter in finish. Seems like the Portugese equivalent of Dutch ’oud bruin’. I like it, though it seems closer to a sweet stout than a dunkel.

Bottle, 25cL. 5%. Gift from my dad ! Thanks ! Home. A very dark sparkling brown beer with a medium off-white foamy head ; average retention. Prune, roast, black chocolate note, sugar. Light dry fresh bitter, light sugary sweet. Medium body, thin texture, soft carbonation, sweet roasty finish. Overall, enjoyable :)

Consumed a few bottles of this at a beach front café in Olhos de Agua, Portugal whilst watching the waves crash on the surf under a clear blue sky and 30 degree temperatures in mid October. A dark brown coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, coffee aroma and taste. This was actually acceptable in the beer desert that is the Algarve.

"Stout" but it's a schwarzbier. Mmmkay... May the schwarz be with you! Draft. Color approximating black with a lasting tan head. Aroma is roasty, grain, coffee. Flavor is a little flat, dry, roasted malts, some grain, slight bitterness. Medium-light feel, higher carb. Meh. Not so super, not so stout.

Kita (2247) - Koper, SLOVENIA - OCT 7, 2017
Bottle, 0.25l, courtesy of Danijel. Pours pitch black color with medium creamy light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt and grass. Taste starts with sweet mildly roasted malt, follows by chocolate, caramel and dark fruit, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Not so bad, but a bit too artificial...

A bottle from Jason’s in Muzha. Aroma: a hint of caramel and chocolate. Appearance: cola, tan lacing. Palate: medium-bodied and rather oily, average carbonation, nice sweet flavourful finish. Taste: medium-sweet, some vanilla in there too. A pleasant surprise, I would drink another one.

Bottle from Jumbo. Dark brown body with a medium beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of copper, Twiglets, peanut shell and filter coffee. Flavour of stewed tea and copper. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. It’s not a Stout, it’s a Schwarzbier. Pretty good.
