GBZ59 (1217) - BARCELONA (Catalonia), SPAIN - DEC 8, 2013
Botella de 330ml. Vaso Shaker. 330ml bottle. Shaker glass. Very dark brown. Tan froth, close crown showing fairly good retention. Roasted malts, coffee grains tothe nose. Roasted malt, coffee infusion & bitter cocoa flavors. Medium to full body. Moderate carbonation. Oily texture but silky palate. Slight floral & coffee bitterness flows as a river throught dried malts. Dry bitter/sweet finish & black cocoa on the aftertaste. Easy drinkability.

Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - MAY 14, 2013
33cl bottle from Cervezorama 2.0 in Madrid. Pours a black body with a finger-width, creamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is moderately malty sweet and pretty roasty with some bittersweet chocolates, caramels, and touches of licorice. Flavor is similar. Roasty with a good amount of bittersweet chocolates, a few dark fruit and licorice notes, and some caramel before this finishes dry and roasty with a light bitterness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a soft, lighter carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid Porter. Roasty and a touch sweet, but dry, balanced, and easy drinking. Pretty good beer.

miquelcrush (2053) - Granollers, SPAIN - JAN 26, 2013

heavy (2817) - Split, CROATIA - DEC 14, 2012
24/11 0.33 l bottle from L’Espumossa, Barcelona. It poured clear, very dark reddish brown body with a small brown head. Licorice, cococa and caramel aroma. Tasted slightly sweet, roasted malty, similar as could be concluded from aroma with broadened palette of flavors. Chocolate, dried fruits and some herbs were more felt towards its long finish. Medium, or even full bodied regarding the ABV. Heard of Moon beers before the trip, but unfortunately managed to find only this one. And it did not disappoint!

Courtesy of Yespr, 4.5% ABV, batch 1142, bb 08/13
Dark brown color, small head, quickly disapearing. Nice aroma of roasted malt with a hint of coffee and dark chocolate. Lean body; dark chocolate flavor with light sourness, traces of fruits, and correct bitterness; the final is just lightly dusty.
Atypical but pleasant.
