24th Jan 2015. Cotteridge RateBeer meet. Cheers Leighton for bringing a new country tick for me and a few others. Shared between too many of us, it looked like a lager/pilsner, clear golden and bright, on top a white fading head. Corn and grainy taste, almost odourless: nothing more to add! solidfunk (9407) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - DEC 29, 2014
It’s not often that you can definitively say a beer is the worst in a country but in Honduras’ case Barena takes the cake. Sourish and tinny with a lot of essential flaws. Gets progressively worse as it warms up. Can in Utila. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 27, 2014
Pretty watery swill that was a break from the national beers that i had been drinking. DeanF (2527) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 26, 2014
Apparently with different labels in different countries, in Honduras it classily says "Party On!" below the name.... it has a faint smell of nohing, a decent head with a boring yellow body. Flavour is weak lemony hops. It’s really forgettable, but definitely drinkable in a humid climate.
