Terrible shite. It is a pale, pale gold and it comes in a clear bottle, needless to say it will be unbearably skunked by the time you get it, and that is all mine was. sseb69 (1924) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 17, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2011 Bouteille 355 ml. Cannette 296 ml. Assis dans un resto de Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Bière très pâle, arôme de mais. Limpide mais maudit qu’elle était bonne !! Non mais correct sans plus. Seboit bien. stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - NOV 19, 2010
Bottle. Pours a clear and pale yellow beer with a large white head. The aroma is sweetness and vegetables. The flavor follows the nose closely. The palate is dry. Overall a beer below average. italianjohn (3186) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 5, 2010

Barena has a thick, white head and a very clear golden-yellow appearance, with high carbonation. Lots of lacing is present down the glass. Aroma is very much of bread, which I suppose is due to the barley; I was unable to pick up any other smells. The taste is a good, bread flavor, and the adjunct does not come through, so they’ve done a nice job of covering it up. There is a slight hop spice at the back end. Mouth-feel is medium, and Barena finishes crisp and wetter than American lagers. I liked it, and I was happy that the sample, poured from a clear glass bottle, was not skunked.

a bit floral and with a perfume like herb infusion. bit of caramel type sweetness in corn. watery, then yeasty with flavors and a touch of fizz at the end nice enough trick from a decent brewer. Christian (13753) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 14, 2010
Golden with a small white head. Aroma of malt and grain with a hint of green peppers. Sweet malty flavour with a touch of caramel. Easy drinking, though boring Dedollewaitor (16229) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 14, 2010

Just another fizzy yellow lager beer. Not much to it, just what you would expect.
