COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Costa Ricans have been enjoying this beer since 1924. Imperial is created from a balanced formula combining malts, grains and hops, without a pronounced overtone in its taste. It is what is known as a “centralized” beer. Adapted to a warm and spring-like climate, Imperial is Florida’s most popular and widely accepted beer, both nationally and internationally, and has thus become the favorite beer of Costa Rica.

Many thanks for this beer to CH-303.

Bottle. Practically aromaless and flavourless. It is hard to say what one should even rate here. Coloured water, slightly sweetish.

[email protected] Jose, Costa Rica. Golden beer with a strong frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty and dry, and the flavour is dry with gentle watery yeastiness. Overall an average pale lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

If you’re looking for a refreshing, crisp cerveza, this is not a bad choice. The flavor profile is less bold than a Corona or a Bohemia, but squish a line down the bottle and enjoy the sand and sunset.

From the 12 fl oz bottle. Yellow pour with small short lasting head. The aroma is of pale malts, corn syrup maybe, and grass. Light body. The taste is also rather syrupy with a mildly clean finish. About what I expected.
