A golden pilsner with a dissipating white head. Strong skunk aroma upon opening (brown bottle) leading way to a sulfitated malt. In mouth, a rather average latin american lager, with light corn and faint hops. Oh welll. Thanks to Inertiaboy and is contact travelling in Honduras for this. No. 1 of 4 in the Hondurena series. This beer was o.k. There was nothing special that really stood out, it was very pale looking and tasted pretty much like every other pale lager I’ve had. JefVerstraete (3753) - Oosterzele, BELGIUM - JUL 31, 2014
Bottle @ Copan Ruinas, Honduras. (Old rating, 2006). Pale golden colour, white foam. Aroma of sweet malts, corn and light bitter finish. Nothing special. DrNosha (2848) - Württemberg, Germany, GERMANY - NOV 3, 2015
355ml Dose. Hellgelb mit luftigem Schaum. Süsslich getreidig im Geruch und Geschmack. Ziemlich wässerig. mike mcneil (660) - St Augustine, Florida, USA - DEC 5, 2000
Sammys didn't miss much. I've tried it fresh, and it's fairly bland. Refreshing and light; corn filler taste; mild hops; clean overall, but not worth a premium price.

canned. Pale yellow in color. Bubbly white head. The aroma is fresh and grassy. Kinda watery and discrete. The flavor the... apple is present, it’s fresh, grassy (quite watery), malty (a bit). Refreshing. brucebruce81 (392) - GUAM - JAN 4, 2015
This beer is a little less flavorful than bud light it has a water taste with a hint of lager at the very end of the drink. If I wanted to drink 30 beers at a time I will buy this.

Bottle, golden body, almost no bubbles, white head that lasts. The taste is light grainy and malty, further nothing special. Grainy, full taste in the mouth, a bit sweet afterwards and after a while a very watery taste coming to the foreground. Refreshing on a hot day however. noyritus (3) - MONTENEGRO - OCT 1, 2009 does not count
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2009 Not a choice beer. As in you had no choice or you made the bad choice; of the Honduran beers it is the lowest price for a reason.
I enjoy all three of the other Honduran national beers greatly, Port Royal, Barena(aka Bahia) which is like a smooth Corona, and Salva Vida which is a similar taste to Imperial but much better quality.
Surprising great beers in Honduras - minus Imperial. Opt for one of the others and you can’t go wrong, Barena is the most popular among the youth. Port Royal is my favorite - it is a Bavarian style pilsner named for the Port Royal of Roatan.
Salva Vida is darker and the old time favorite. Imperial however is like a Salva Vida gone bad. slowrunner77 (13231) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 27, 2014
Above average as far as macro swill is concerned, as it is less offensive than many...but that’s about it. Generic sweet malt taste, corn-like aroma. Little hops to go around. "
