Can. Pours a clear, glowing gold with a dissipating white head. Rich corn and grain aroma with hints of caramel and apple. Flavor is sweet with more corn and cereal, along with some sugar and wheat. Light in body with fine, soft carbonation. Finishes lightly sweet and crisp, with some lingering sugar. This is one of the best Pale Lagers I have ever had. Superb. 12oz can. Trader Joe’s, Roswell, Ga. $3.99/6pk. What a deal! cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - AUG 4, 2010
clear golden pour. Tall, thick fluffy white head. Aroma of pale cereal malt. Honey coated sweetness and a good amount of wheat in the nose as well as some corn. Flavor has a little bit of apple, some grains. Flavor is more on the sweet side although it finishes with a little bit of straw flavors from the hops. A good bit heavier bodied for most Pale Lager, as this places well for a summer Lager marketed for the "Beach". Still light bodied, this can carries a good amount of flavor with it.
Best before 042311.
12 oz. can from Trader Joes - Pours a crystal clear light golden color with a one and a half finger thick white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is grain (corn) and herbal hops. Nothing offensive. Flavor is much of the same. Again, nothing offensive. Medium body. This beer was a nice surprise. It’s quite drinkable. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - OCT 25, 2010
Yellow with white watery head and lace. Aroma of corn and wet paper. Slightly sweet corn and a light straw. Crisp drinker with a tiny hint of funk. Drinkable

I was actually a bit surprised by this beer. Something like 67 cents for a can at Trader Joe’s. Poured a clear golden color with a medium sized stark white head. Aroma was corn, cereal, wheat notes. Flavor was, well not as offensive as I had expected. Very light, and a lot better made than the ratings seem to give it credit for. Perhaps my beer was colder than others or maybe theirs weren’t handled well in transport? jb43 (1650) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 21, 2011
(can 6/27/11). Clear gold color. Large white head. Moderate sweet grain/corn aroma and flavor. Avg duration. Lasting sweet finish. Slick texture. High carbonation. Fair lacing. Skyview (6093) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - SEP 6, 2010
Sampled from 12-oz aluminum can and shared by JK. Pours a clear golden pale colored brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates to a thin white ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, honey, corn, a hint of Ivory soap, and a touch of green vegetables. Taste is light bodied, plenty of carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt with corn, grassy hops, more Ivory soap, and a touch of apple. Finish is semi sweet, with a corn meal aftertaste. An average Mexican Lager throughout. LtDan (1806) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - APR 10, 2010
Found this in cans at Trader Joe’s in Monrovia,CA. All the research points back to Cervecería Mexicana, which is marketed by Alta Marketing in Redlands, CA.SpringsLicker (3663) - Tennessee, USA - AUG 16, 2010
Appearance: Pours a clear yellow gold with tiny rising bubbles. Starts off with a nice white head that subsides to a micro film of white.
Aroma: Pale malts, a touch of corny sweetness, wet cardboard.
Taste: Pale malt, faint bitter hops finishes fairly clean.
Overall: Suprising the best canned cheapo lager from Trader Joes. I’m used to a big taste and whiff of sweet corn, and this didn’t have that.
Crystal clear gold body that throws up a nice tall, sticky white head.
The aroma is off somewhat, vegetal, grassy, slightly sour.
The flavor is soapy, metallic, almost like a poorly rinsed glass that had some soap and beer left in it.
Cheap, $3.99 a six at Trader Joe’s.
