Rich dark brown nutty color aroma and flavor. It has a nice smoky flavor and is refreshing and flavorful. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, fruchtig. Geschmack malzig süß, leicht wässrig, leicht Karamell.

Bottle. Nice darker amber pour. Head was thick, beige, and lasted the entire duration leaving a clump of rich foam at the bottom of the glass when the liquid was drank. Light toasted grains and nuts in the aroma. unfortunately there was some notes of skunk. Probably because of the clear bottle. That dragged the score down overall by .3 points. Flavor of roasted grain, light caramel, and toasted nuts was hampered by skunk in the background. Without the skunk this is a very fine beer!

Good amber lager. Has a slight stout-like taste. Cheap and refreshing, worth a try. Definitely one of my favorite Mexican beers.

Sampled at Big Brew Beer Festival (Morristown). Poured a dark amber color with a small off white head. Aroma of grain and light roasted malt. Taste is watery, light citrus, and roasted malt.

Bottle at home. Pours clear brown with amber highlights and a small, frothy light beige head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is nutty and caramel malt, dates, and tea leaves. Flavor is sweet malt, light caramel, faint spicy hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Light body and carbonation.

nice amber show thin head but surprisingly tasty and refreshing after drinking amber lager still stands out

300ml bottle from Lupe Pinto, Glasgow (£1.49):
Light and sweet one the nose with a smell mainly consisting of malts and a few caramel notes There is a roasted malts aroma and a bit of fruit in there too.
Murky brown with a thin, white lacing around the brim for a head.
Light in this department too with a few light fruits and a mix of caramel and roasted malts. There is a bit of toffee and a malty taste with a touch of grain. A pretty basic dark lager really.
Smooth with only a touch of grain on the palate, a bit of fruity sweetness and a crisp finish with fairly strong carbonation.

A very basic dark lager that I wouldn’t quite class as a dunkel as it was too light and plain. Everything was fairly light and unobtrusive making it pretty easy to drink but not particularly enjoyable.

Excelente color oscuro pero con pobre espuma. decente sabor ahumado con notas de maiz y maltas. Paladar seco y alcoholico, sin retención de los sabores primarios.

KeefOz (1950) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - MAR 20, 2013
Poured a translucent dark amber with a reddish tint. Virtually no head and no lacing. Low carbonation (ie flat). Aroma faintly of malt and sweet caramel. Taste subtly of roasted grain and even more subtly of malt. Light body. Smooth finish.
