(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a beige and tall foamy head. Sweet toffee-malty aroma with spicy notes of anise and a tinge of marzipan. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malt-accented taste with present notes of caramel, toffee and a whiff of nuts; moderately sweet and caramely malty finish with hints of sour dough and shy herbal hops. Not that bad. 20.I.12 thetmaxx (917) - West Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 30, 2011
Took a few swings of this from the bottle, but found it to be very good, so I poured it in to a wide mouth glass. Aroma is plain of roasted malt. Flavor is clean, and chocolatey. Palate is pleasant. My ratings tonight have become generic. Overall a decent beer that I didn’t see coming. marcus (10231) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 20, 2011
Pours dark brown with a decent tan head and a chocolate aroma. There is a mild carbonated chocolate and roasted malt flavor. A bit light on ingredient. nearbeer (5424) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 13, 2011
33 cl. Nearly opaque chocolate with ruby tints and a lasting bead of cream above. Nose of skunk, with hints of caramel and light roasted coffee. Flavor is similar, with some toasted nut developing a bit later. Medium body is smoothly carbonated and well-balanced. Once the skunk nearly wore off (or wore me down), it really was a special dark beer from Mexico.

Deep amber color, steady creamy beige head. Caramelly, bock-like bready, toasty maltyness. Light to medium-bodied. Cola-like caramelly flavor, sweetish with light harsh maltyness in the finish. Suprisingly similar to some FIN/SWE/EST Viennas. Nothing special but way too better than expected.
Sample at KC Beerfest 10-22. Comes amber with an average beige head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is malt, caramel and some chocolate. OK> saxo (18459) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - SEP 5, 2011

A crisp and smooth dark lager. Has a hint of wine gum like fruit in the background. Alright.
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2010 Bottle.
A - Clear dark copper color. Fairly large, foamy, bubbly, off-white head. Disappears pretty fast with almost no lace left.
S - Toasted nutty/grainy malt. Sweet aroma with a touch of toffee and caramel. Hints of grassy hops and a minerally aroma.
T - Similar to the nose with a touch more caramel/toffee sweetness. Initially there is a pretty strong grainy taste that is present throughout. Just a faint hint of hop, primarily grassy flavors. Touch of fruitiness that only adds to the sweetness at the finish.
M - Light body with average carbonation. A sweet, dry feel on the finish.
D - A little too sweet and drying to be all that drinkable. Not really balanced, just too sweet and malty, but not in an enjoyable way.
Notes: Nothing special here. Plenty of grainy and sweet malt. About what I was expecting (maybe a little better given this is a German style from Mexico). Not horrible, but I probably wouldn’t search for this.
