OH MAN! I really liked this Brew, Plain and simple Dark American Lager, maybe because its named after the name of the town where i live and my great-great grand-father helped to establish,or maybe because it taste so good it makes me sad they dont sell it here. Very nice carbonated, some subtle caramel notes and very refreshing lager palate at the same time, clean and drinkable brwn body and white big-bubbled head.I would buy this one again im sure but this time a Whole 6-pack

nice amber show thin head but surprisingly tasty and refreshing after drinking amber lager still stands out

Bottle from Lupe Pinto. This one said 5.5%. Appearance - deep amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - toffee but doing into molasses. Light nuts. Taste - more hazelnuts and toffee or molasses. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy middle section. The finish is fairly fresh considering. Overall - like it. Definite elements of doppelbock going on.

Aweseom one, I would have thought this was nasty but it was ´retty good, a shame the bottle is colourless.

Good amber lager. Has a slight stout-like taste. Cheap and refreshing, worth a try. Definitely one of my favorite Mexican beers.

Damn, I gotta say I like this stuff. This is not the first time I’ve had a dark mexican beer that has been quite tasty. Poured out a dark clear mahogany beer with a good sized thick tan head that has great retention and produces slippery ropy lacing. The aroma is dry and a bit weak with grains and burnt sugar and toasted malts. The taste is along the same lines minus the grains - really malty with a some caramel. The mouthfeel is really good - smooth, good light carbonation and a low powered burnt and bitter finish. I need more. This stuff goes down very good.

Bottle. Brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is mainly malty, and the flavour is slightly dry but mainly warming malts. Overall a fairly plain beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Clear amber golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of nuts and overripe fruit. Medium body, sweetish caramel and a little overripe fruit. Finishes dry. 270509

A crisp and smooth dark lager. Has a hint of wine gum like fruit in the background. Alright.
