MarcoBasile (466) - DENMARK - OCT 10, 2017
Pours a clear hazelnutty brown body with light tan head. Aroma malty, toasted nuts, brown sugar on aroma. Taste is malty, toasty and sweet. Lacks a lot of balance. Grainy, floury mouthfeel. Light to medium body, soft carbonation.

sm89walt (2079) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 19, 2017
330ml bottle - Mex & Co, Manly. Clear mid-brown with a small and fading tan head. Chocolate, lightly roasted malt, dark fruits, some brown sugar, liquorice. Light to medium body, medium carbonation and a soft to moderate length and intensity malty bittersweet finish.

3.6
AshtonMcCobb (6852) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 19, 2017
Bottle from Lupe Pinto. This one said 5.5%. Appearance - deep amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - toffee but doing into molasses. Light nuts. Taste - more hazelnuts and toffee or molasses. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy middle section. The finish is fairly fresh considering. Overall - like it. Definite elements of doppelbock going on.

invinoveritas (156) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2017
33cl bottle served slightly too warm. Odd punchy nose, some banana in there. Sweet and fruity to taste, almost cloying. Jumbled and not very good.

330ml bottle (Ancho, Tallinn)
Well, I woke up at 3:50pm, so I presume it was a good new-year’s eve party. It’s now 4:20, so I guess it’s time for a beer to help me sober up. Alas it has to be this. Clear glass and twist-top, this gives me the fucking horn. Stinky sweet aroma. Freaky caramel red. Yucky sweet taste, something completely unidentifiable too. Totally fucking horrible. If 2017 is to be better than 2016, it’s starting off on the wrong foot.

1.7
Grumbo (3756) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2016
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours mid brown with a small off white head. Aroma of malty caramel, with some dark fruits and prune. Quite high sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, texture rather slimy. Finish is sweet with something akin to stewed veg. Didn’t like this very much.

3.2
goozen (4119) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAR 20, 2016
Bottle 0,33ltr: Clear dark brown colored brew with an sweet bitter taste, nicely hints of caramel. Thuoght this beer was worser but i’am surprised.

2.9
Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - DEC 20, 2015
Pours an amber color with a caramel malt aroma and a tad bit skinny. Taste is sweet, with a light bread flavor. Tastier than I expected. Very drinkable with an easy dissipating aftertaste.
