Bottle, nice golden colour, nice bubbles, nice white huge head that lasts and lacing very nice. This is probably the best Honduran beer I drunk: nice grainy and malty aroma and an interesting and little complex taste of grains, malts, light sweet and a light bitter and grassy finish. The overall taste however could be better balanced. Comes very close to the level of Belgian, German and Czech pale lager beers.

Hmmm this has to be one of the best pale lagers out there. Its somehow very complex. Pour is typical of lagers, crystal clear, light gold but has a nice thick white head that stays. Aroma is yeasty, wheaty but with hop notes of lemon, citrus, and floral. Flavor is clean bitter. Palate is refreshing, thin and crisp. No off flavors and not watery...very solid stuff.

Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours pale, pale gold with a huge foamy, frothy head. Aroma is sweetish with a hint of grass. Rather thin with mild carbonation. Flavor is clean. It has a light sweetness with some grassiness for bitter. Surprisingly drinkable. One of the better pale lagers. Cause it lacks pale lager graininess.

So far, the best Honduran beer I have tried. It was creamy and refrehsing. The foam is interesting and nice colour.

12 ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine Pembroke Pines, FL for $1.99 Nothing special.

Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma is faint, just the slightest sweet smell. Flavor is sweet corn and light malts. No hop bitterness. Tastes like a watered down Rolling Rock. Thin. Like most Caribbean lagers, it’d be nice and refreshing on a hot day, but that’s about it.

TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - FEB 1, 2009
Can in the San Pedro Sula Airport in Honduras this morning. This was the nastiest of the Honduran pale lagers I tried. The adjuncts did not make it better. What’s worse is its brewed by a German. What an insult to his home country. Also, did Port Brewing copy the font on their label? It looks very, very similar...

this was gross and sweet malty with no hop flavor..or very low malt flavor for that matter....it is worth passing up.....

The aroma is not good but unique for me since its the first beer that has ever smell like personal lubricant. On top of that you have a touch of grass hops but mostly corn like malt. The appearance is pale gold with a nice head that lasts. The flavor is like the aroma, yeah. The palate is thin but ok for the style. Overall its pretty bad and pretty strange.

Bottle thanks to daknole. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a large white head that goes down a bit. The aroma is not bad; some apricot and sweet malts. The flavor is grassy, some light malts, and a pretty dry finish. Sort of refreshing. The finish is dry like a wheat beer can be. Not bad.
