Just your average lager from Caribbean or Central America. Tastes like straw, not as malty as most. There’s a bit of grain husk in the beer, which is weird. Not great, but could be worse.

Looks like a pale lager, tastes like a pale lager. If I didn’t travel to so many beach destinations I wouldn’t drink near as many of these...

Bottle at World of Beer. Clear pale yellow pour. Foamy but short lived head. Mild aroma and flavor. Not bad but not good either.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Clear pale lager three fingers of frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of grains, hints of fruit. Taste is very ligh grains at first translating into sweet fruitiness and lightly bitter finish. Taste is rather weak but nice. Thin palate. A nice brew.

12 ounce bottle shared by Beerandblues2 at the 5/7/11 DC Ratebeer gathering. Pours a clear pale golden color with a thin creamy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Very fruity aroma with lots of stone fruits and some grain. The taste is grain, banana and a gummy, doughy note reminiscent of Gatorade. Thin-medium bodied.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 8/2/11

Aroma: The nose is along the lines of what you’d expect: grass, corn, and some apple
Appearance: A completely clear yellow with a lot of movement and a foamy white head
Flavor: The taste is somewhat sweet and finishing lightly bitter, thin overall flavor-wise
Palate: The body is light, the duration is short, and the mouthfeel is watery (not many surprises here)
Overall Impression: I didn’t necessarily buy this one because I was expecting a good beer, but I had 5 of 6 in my MYO 6-pack, and needed to fill the last slot (Colonial only lets you buy from a select group of mostly crap for their 6 packs) , so I figured why not use that last slot to tick Honduras. It’s not quite as terrible as the overall score of 6 would suggest, but it isn’t really too good either.

TPSA. Pours a light gold with a very thin head. Very fruity nose for a lager -- definite apple notes. The same fruitiness shows up in the taste, along with sweetness and rice. There is a bit of hops bitterness. Finish is forgettable. It’s a LUL.

Strangebrewer (1308) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 22, 2011
355ml can. Poured clear pale yellow with a big frothy bleach white head. Aroma is grainy, a bit sour. Light mouthfeel, average carbonation. A bready malt flavour with a hint of sour apple. Finishes with a light grassy bitterness. Not bad.
