341 ml bottle. Golden colour with a quickly diminishing frothy white head. Caramel and light bready aroma. Honey and bready flavour with a lingering perfumed bitter finish that grows chalky. Medium bodied, dry mouthfeel. pintbypint (3831) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 5, 2005
341ml brown bottle from gilvanblight. Golden beer, thin layer of white foam. Lightly floral, light citrus scents. Toasted malt flavours, a bit fruity, light sweetness. crizay (1050) - Brook Park, Ohio, USA - MAY 5, 2005
This tasted just like a budweiser it was horrible and my friend poured out the whole glass, it was gross. muzzlehatch (4969) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 17, 2005
Bottle. Medium-to-dark amber, thin head doesn’t keep...great herbal qualities and a bit of buttery, sweet malt in the nose...solid pale ale profile on the sweetish side, not a whole lot of herbal or spicy character, juicy and wet with some lovely finishing bitterness. Nothing spectacular but quite quaffable. Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 14, 2005
Bottle from LCBO. Golden ale with a thin white head. Malty and lightly herbal aroma. Decent malt in mouth with nice hops and typical hemp floral notes, nutty, with pleasamt lightly oily mouthfeel.

Toasty nose, a bit of citrus. Not a bad beer, really. Toasted malt up front followed by decent spicy hops and a sweetish tingly finish. beerbuzzmontreal (3486) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 17, 2004
Clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of hemp and malt. Flavor of hemp and malt with a bitter finish. Light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Mostly ordinary ... pootzboy (1804) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 14, 2004
Bottled pint from the LCBO. Poured a slightly hazy gold with a smallish cap. Huge soadie pop bubbles literally coat and cling to the glass sides and bottom. Nose detects vegetable aromas with some musty pine and sweet malt. Very spritzy on the palate...malts come through in the middle then finish isn’t as fast as expected....the malts drop off abruptly and the piney hops and very detectable hemp gang up on the after taste leaving a tinny-tart-resinous taste. The hemp is very evident in this brew compared to the other bottled hemp red beer commercially available. This ale is hoppy in the finish and the hemp compliments the pine hops and leaves resinous aftertaste....not bad. dirkules (629) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 2, 2004
Smooth brew that is red in colour and off white with a quickly dissipating head. It has a lot of ginger and hop finish but it’s really quite watery and not creamy at all like the cask ale. Simple and decent. obisbeer (568) - Barcelona, SPAIN - AUG 30, 2004
Beautiful deep gold, very clear. Woodynose with roasted peach aromas. LIght weight crisp, with a hop finish that lingers pilsner like. Light fruit on the palate though not overpowering. Delicate, enjoyable, simple.
