An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet grainy combined with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with an OK hops presence giving it a touch of citrus.

Actually kind of similar to the rye - same muddy tannish colour and fair to middlin' character. Less spicy though, with freakin' goldings in the finish (how creative).

Bottle from LCBO. Golden ale with a thin white head. Malty and lightly herbal aroma. Decent malt in mouth with nice hops and typical hemp floral notes, nutty, with pleasamt lightly oily mouthfeel.

(341ml bottle) Medium off-white head atop a clear apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, spicy, caramel, some bread. Taste is moderately sweet, apple, caramel, light spice, honey. Watery light body. Just your average everyday beer, despite having a gimmick attached to it.

On tap at C’est What?. Pours a just hazy orange amber with a thin white head. Rootbeer and cream soda. Medium bodied, light caramel, slightly spicy almost rye notes. Finishes with a light bitterness and a little tart grain.

We were told it would have no taste and even the waitresses discouraged us. Wasn’t half so bad. Unique taste, some ginger. They must have upped the carbonation. Have to have it to tell others you did. Grassy colour and also in the floral aroma.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2007 Sept 2007. Cest What Festival of Small Breweries. Yellow body with a small white head. Interesting fruity aroma, light grainy character. Similarly fruity flavour with light yeasty notes and a moderate pleasant bitterness underlying throughout. Pleasant but not particularly exciting. 6/3/6/3/12 - 3.0 <P>July 2003. Very clean and smooth, sort of nicely fruity? Best Hemp beer I have had so far. Refreshing, I thought the body and mouthfeel were appropriate. 6/3/6/3/14 - 3.2

[160-20061227] Tap @ C’est What (Toronto, ON). Lightly fruity aroma. Clear, orange body, small bubbles around the outer rim with a little creamy white head and nicely tatted lacing patterns. Light apple strawberry flavour with a hint of something mediciney. Light-medium body. Very nice togetherness.

Tap at C’est What? Very pale straw coloured brew. Aroma is quite subtle with a light estery fruitiness, a hint of toasted nuttiness and a light candyish sweetness. Possibly a little bit of cocoa in the nose as well. The flavour is also unusual in that it has a touch of cocoa and caramel in such a pale brew. Quite fruity with a nutty character that I can only assume is the hemp. With my eyes closed I would imagine I’m drinking a brown ale... it’s quite nice really.
