COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The history of Cesu beer can be traced back to the thirteenth century when a beer brewery was founded right in Cesu castle. The chronicles of the year 1590 present evidence for the popularity of the particular beer brewery at the time. Due to the new factory in Cesis the new beer corresponds to nowadays demands while preserving the flavour of natural beer.

visionthing (5596) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 5, 2013
50cl can from Riga Airport. Pours pale golden with a short lived white head. Lightly fruity and grainy aroma with notes of cooked vegetables and hints of hops in the background. Medium sweet with a very light bitterness in the finish. Just another watery and pretty flavourless pale lager. Drinkable enough and refreshing under the right circumstances.

Leighton (22775) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2013
Bottle at home in London - courtesy of the Kris Wines. Pours clear, light yellow with a wimpy, white cream head. The nose carries simple dry doughy pale malts, some metal, hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with cereal, lightly biscuity pale malts, white bread, white sugar, light bitter hay. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Sweet finish, ever so slightly syrupy, with more cereal, dry white bread, faint bitter hay, suggestions of grass and biscuits. Pretty solid pale lager, though just a touch syrupy at times.

Bottle. Pours clear light golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of hop with a grainy note. Hoppy and malty, a little sweety taste. A dryish aftertaste. OK.

MiP (16054) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 17, 2012
Bottle, 5.2%. Almost clear golden colour. small white head. The flavour is a little bit papery. Tastes unfiltered, and also looks it a bit, I suppose. But not bready or yeasty in the good way.

Naprawdę średnie piwo jeśli chodzi o smak. W sapachu słoma i kukurydza. Za to wygląd piany i klarowność bardzo dobra. Zwłaszcza piana która wystaję o kilka centymetrów ponad szklankę.

ectuohy27 (1310) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 3, 2012
Bog-standard European PL, with decent foam but a severely corny aftertaste. More hoppy than usual (on tap in Riga)

deanso (10266) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - OCT 15, 2012
50cl can @ hotel in Riga. Thin head. Clear golden pour. Not a bad pilsner.
