Looks like this one is brewed all over the place under "technical supervision" of the original Indian brewery. It’s not bad, but obviously inconsistent. My version is brewed in Rochester, NY at 5.2. This a moderately sweet pale lager. Minimal hop presence. Not bad. Simonsen (1282) - NORWAY - JAN 20, 2013
Flaske fra ica prinsdal. Lys gylden farge, nesten uten skum, lite kabonering. En lys smakløs øl. Ikke spesielt forfriskende heller Albertsen (76) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 10, 2013
Pilsner. Nice foam, great color. Tastes like a typical pilsner. has a mild, but but good sweetness to it. a little short of bitterness and has a too abrupt finish. wintyguy (69) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 7, 2013
Poured down the drain. Bacteria issues. I’m sure its better from the source a wee bit fresher too. adamnase (705) - Kronoby, FINLAND - DEC 19, 2012
Bottle 33 cl. Golden color with an almost non-lasting foamy head. Grains and som herbal notes, seetish taste(caramel). AWFUL!

Bottle (4.7% version brewed at Minhas in Monroe, WI).
Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (grain, husks), with notes of metal, fusel alcohol, DMS, concrete.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, husky, unclean.
Medium body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation, metallic.
About as bad as beer gets...exceptionally husky malt with nothing but off notes for accent. Almost no redeeming qualities whatsoever. It’s funny how this is contract-brewed in Wisconsin (albeit at a shitty swill factory) and yet retains all the poor qualities you would expect from a beer from India (or Ukraine, or China, etc.). It’s almost like the guys at Minhas said "You know, guys, we could reduce the DMS and metallic notes really easily if you like and..." to be quickly shouted down with "NO, NO, NO! That’s the special character of Chakra Premium! Do not change!!! 200 pounds of metal shavings added to the boil, as we agreed!!!" Holmen1 (5914) - Stavanger, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2012
