12oz bottle 8/9/11 (Binny’s Naperville Singles Rack)-46° in English Pint-Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of malt, apple cider, Belgian yeast, and grains. Taste of yeast, malt, grains, grass, and malt. This light bodied brew is pretty basic with a cidery taste. Hermod (8222) - Vantaa, FINLAND - JUL 27, 2011
50cl bottle. Poured pale golden with a thin white head. Aroma is rubber and malt. Flavor is next to none, some grassy sweet maltyness, low to no bitterness. Quite awful. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2011
[Bottle] Pours a clear yellow color with a fizzy head from a brown bottle. No expiration date on the bottle. Sweet aroma of grain and apple cider vinegar. The initial taste is dominated by a sickly green apple flavor which completely masks anything else this beer had going for it. Bubbly soda-like carbonation. A bit sweet in the finish. Nearly a drainpour, which I very rarely would do. CanIHave4Beers (4208) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - JUN 21, 2011
Pale Lager month installment number 17: At the end of a long day, I like to reach for a Chakra. It’s made in Belgium, so I can be sure of it’s quality. But it’s brewed for to appeal to the sensibilities of the Indian palate so I know it’s won’t disappoint.
Chakra pours a fairly pale yellow color with a medium sized fluffy white head that disappears. The aroma is quite reminiscent of sweet apple cider with maybe just a little bit of toasty malt. The flavor is like apple cider and malt liquor!
YUM! Seriously though, this stuff tastes like grocery store apple cider with a good deal of corniness and alcohol. As it warms some yeasty bread dough appears along with some mildly harsh bitterness, all the while the alcohol grows ever more annoying. anders37 (26878) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAY 5, 2011

Bottle 33 cl, 4,5% ABV, from Aux Gourmets - Neuchâtel (CH). Brewed at Br. Zubr Czech Republic. Golden beer with short foam but active crackling. It is marked by the grain, some herbal notes. The taste is sweetish, toffy, glu and cardboard, bitterness not in agree. Curious end sweetened and bitter at the same disgusting. heemer77 (5360) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - APR 1, 2011
A bright white head with a deep gold hue underneath. Sweat and herbs are the dominant aromas. There is also some glazed donut. The dominant flavors are bologna and peanut shells. There is a metallic finish with hints of cantalope rind. This is earthy and strange. crossovert (13730) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 14, 2011
The bottle I had was contract brewed in Rochester I think, and it was in a brown bottle. Didn’t save it from tasting like ass. neilsbeers (1) - SWITZERLAND - FEB 15, 2011 does not count
Mine was brewed and glass bottled in Czech Republic by the brewery Zubr in Prerov, bought in Lausanne Switzerland. Not the best indian beer but it worked for me, looked good.
