This refreshing golden ale will quench your thirst and satisfy after a hard day of riding singletrack or slaving on the job. It is brewed with malted wheat, orange blossom honey, and a dose of coriander and orange peel. Light bodied and dry with a touch of honey sweetness and a floral bouquet, Broken Spoke is easy to drink and finishes light.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has earthy grain a biscuit with some dry honey underlying. Flavor is mainly biscuit and grain with a bit of honey in the finish.

Tap @ Chama River. Pours a light golden yellow appearance with a white head. Honey, sweet citrusy, a touch herbal aroma. Fairly refreshing, orange/lemon, floral honey, a touch watery flavor but it is an easy drinking, refreshing summer beer.

I barely gave this one the time of day. Hazy pale. Husky and honeyish. A bit of grainy tartness late.

Draft at brewpub. Pours golden with a fair amount of lacing. A slight metallic tang on the nose. A slight hint of honey on the tongue. My least favorite beer here so far.

LilBeerDoctor (3930) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 13, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of honey sweetness with wheat notes. Flavor of bready malt with a hint of honey sweetness but mostly bready notes, some light spices. Good stuff, this was one of the better wheat ales. 7/4/7/4/14 [3.6/5]
