I love this brewery-a good NM friend was the head brewer here till a few months ago. the guy that took over seems to keep the tradition of good beer continuing. Orange copper hue with a small soapy white head. all theri beers have a similar apperance it seems-not a bad thing. nice piney, grapefruit flaovrs but less harsh than some-i dont know how old this batch is, but the bitterness level is not really high here. simple round medium body which is on par for the style. some tropical notes came out as the beer warmed a bit. a good session beer from what is still NM’s best brewery.

Chama River knows its hops. Blurring the line between APA and IPA this has a very nice citric aroma and a fresh hop harvest flavor. Hop hounds of ABQ let me be the first to inform you....you are well spoiled.
