12 ounce bottle from Sprecher, 8/23/16. Clear amber, thin creamy tan head that quickly fades.Aroma of toasted malt and honey. The taste is the same with a grassy finish. Thin bodied.

This beer is a clear pale golden-orange color with a medium fluffy white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of grainy malt and mild hops. Light body with flavors of sweet malt and grain as well as lightly bitter grassy hops. The finish is short and malty. Slightly below average overall.

Were they trying to poison me? This is a lager if I am not mistaken. Sprecher has tried hard to make a craft light beer, they need to keep trying.

Draft. Light milky barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet creamy barley malt and light hay flavor. Decent body. Smooth - pretty nice.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle from Sprecher’s brewery gift shop in Glendale, WI. Pours a very slightly hazy light gold with a thin white head. Aroma is toasted malt and grain, slightly sweet. Somewhat fizzy palate. Taste is watery grain, and a bit sweet. Nothing really offensive here, but nothing to hold my interest either.

6/13/11. 12oz bottle. Very slightly hazy golden pour with a small off-white head. Herbal, vegetal aroma with ketchup and green pepper... oh my. Sweet, disgusting vegetal flavor with sweet tomatoes, green peppers, and more horrible stuff. Wow, this is awful.

Bottled. Poured clear straw golden with a sticky cap of white head. The aroma picked up honey and vegetal sweetness with husky accents.. not much going on. The flavor found pale and honey malts at the core, with prickly carbonation and very little grassy bitterness around.. super fast finish with a touch of lemon zest over honey. Light-bodied.. higher carbonation kept it from being watery on most parts of the palate.. drinkable, but not something I want any more of.

TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 30, 2012
12 oz bottle from Sprecher Brewery (Glendale, WI). The final of the 4 "Modern" beers from the secondary brewery Sprecher is doing. Pours a darker fuller golden hue, good glow and firm haze. A big cakey whitish head atop dies to a firm layer, laces well. Aromas are crisp cereal grains, bready malts, and a gentle kiss of spicy bread yeast. Some faint floral and earthy hops. Initial is fairly clean and simple, gentle kiss of dryness up front, a faint waft of lemon, moving quickly into bready and cereal malts. Bread, grains, and gentle sweetness kiss, making this light bodied beer offer a fairly clean experience. A gentle spice, some earthy grassy hops into the backend offer some mellow bitterness. A bit bland overall, light and easily drinkable, with some mellow balance. Not as bad as anticipated. Much better than the Onion Bomb they make.

wlajwl (6803) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUN 16, 2011
The aroma is relatively sweet smelling, butterscotch and grainy, while the appearance is yellow-gold. The flavor is also grainy and has a mildly sweet finish. Not an explosion of flavor but easy to drink and sessionable.

JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - MAY 18, 2016
Amber color with a modest off-white head. Scents of caramel and hint of hops. Flavors similar to aromas. A light amber, with little going on.4/10
